One of the best for plug and play

The sysytem works great, and the controllers start out spectacular... the reasons there is not a fifth star are as follows: the aformentioned controller starts showing stick drift just after about a year, and the replacement controllers are not cheap. Furthermore, like all systems these days, you have to pay for a service to play most of the online games with your friends. Finally, and this is a big pet peeve for me, the system gets updates to block the use of most 3rd party accessories. If you can afford to spend extra, and have the skills to get your settings right, a PC is much better in the long run. If you need plug and play convenience, the PS5 is what's best for you.

I purchased this because my original controller picked up stick drift right when it's warranty ran out. I've treated this on as if it was a vial of nitro just waiting to blow, and sadly stick drift is just starting to set in. You would think Sony would have done better as time marches on, but seriously, I still have an original PS2 and it's controller doesn't have stick drift. In truth, this is just what the current gen controllers are like. For these prices, we should not be getting disposable hardware. I still gave it four stars because everyone is producing garbage, and theirs is the best of the garbage that I've tried so far.

I have been using this for one year and one day, and I still don't regret the purchase. In games that don't support the 3D sound, this is still an excellent headset. In games that do support 3D sound though, I can pinpoint enemies by their noises much quicker than with a normal headset. The chat to game mix controls on the back of the headset are wonderful once you get to where you know where they are without taking off the headset. I like that the mute button noticeably rises when you mute your mike. The one caveat with them is that they are not comfortable with normal glasses. They just fit too snuggly over your ears to leave room for them.

The Borderlands games are all awesome, so I had to see how it started. I began playing with Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection, and have been hooked from that moment on. The graphics on this one are a bit outdated, but after years of it being out there, they have ironed out the flaws to the point that I didn't notice any of them. The network play was stable, The split screen was smooth, and the story so far has been a blast to watch unfold.

Chaotic connection, but Great for single player

So I had some decently high expectations going into this game, but am happy to be able to say that this game surpassed them. The game is a delight, and plays well in one player mode... That being said, the split screen mode has some bugs that I was frankly disappointed to see made it into the commercial release. These are mostly related to inventory management, especially with the bank. As such, they are not total game breakers so much as annoying inconveniences. When playing online, the connection to SHiFT seems very unstable, so if you are getting this for the multiplayer features, it may still take some time before it is refined enough to be the game you want. The borderlands games have always became stable enough to enjoy, and I have no doubt that they will figure this one out as well eventually. Hopefully I'll remember to update this review at that point.

I was really looking foreward to this game, as i loved Dying Light and Dying Light: The Following. The game is very glitchy, and Techland (the games creator) is fine tuning game balance while players are still unable to play. Not only that, but the game balance improvements, most of which fit in the catagory of nerfs, are not listed in the patch notes, which feels kinda shady. Im currently unable to finish the game because one of my missions is bugged out. One of my side quest chains is also bugged out in the same way. Im kinda upset that while im unable to progress, they are putting rescources toward nerfing everyone that could be put toward fixing the bug that has me and many others stuck.

The instructions in the box are short and vague, giving you an online link to get more detailed instruction. The online instructions are made for a range of similar models. DO NOT BLINDLY FOLLOW THEM. Seriously, they have you drill holes that the bolts in the package can be thrown into. At that point, I went to my tools shelves, pulled a handful of lag screws out, put them into the holes, and called it good. That mount isn't going anywhere. If you measure the bolts yourself, and double check every instruction the box and video gives you, this is a decent mount. That being said, it's not the easy install it claims to be, as you need to know how to install a mount before you try this one.

Assuming you asked the question on the right model, yes... sort of. There is a power button on the underside below the LG emblem at the center of the bottom border. If you press it in and quickly release it while the TV is on, you will get a menu (it may show instructions to do it again, if so, do it again immediately.) Press and release the button until input is highlighted, then press and hold the button until it shows the inputs available. It will only show inputs that currently have something being fed to it, so if the device you are trying to use is turned off, you are not likely to see it. Press and release until yours is highlighted, then press and hold to switch to it. Input should be the first one after the power symbol.

Can anyone tell me connection speed getting on hardwired PS or Xbox? I purchased a mesh system and it lowered my hardwired equipment. Getting gigablast but want to be sure this supports higher download speeds on hardwired equipment too!
I have three PS4 systems connected to this device. One is hard wired, one is on the 5Ghz channel, and one is on the 2.4Ghz channel. I'm using Spectrum as my provider on their 100mb speed plan. I realistically usually only see just over 96mb download and 5mb upload total, but that's due to my provider, not the modem. This router does split it fairly evenly when we speed test all three systems simultaneously with the wired and 5Ghz each getting just over 30mb download and the 2.4Ghz around 29Ghz. Any one system can get high 90's if the others are not using much at the moment. This thing has been great for playing Dying Light over the LAN, and we play Fortnite through the wireless all the time. We game a lot, and as long as you keep the same system types off of the same wireless frequency as each other, this modem has yet to disappoint me. Granted, I haven't had it long, so the honeymoon period isn't over yet.

Sorry Bob. This device isn't designed for phone service. While I don't know every service out there, I know for a fact that it cannot be used with Spectrum phone service as I have this device and I use Spectrum. It can however be used as a router attached to a modem that does support your phone service. At that point though there are tons of wireless routers on the market that can do that. Your cable/internet/phone provider keeps list of modems that they have tested, and most providers can even help you find this out over the phone. When it comes right down to it, they are the ones you should be asking this question to.
