I like Speck products generally speaking, regarding my previous experience with them, but this one I'm not totally sold on. It's super for protection, but rounds off the corners and is kinda slick, which negates the new apple phone design. Also it's near impossible to take off. Just not my favorite.

I bought this because Wirecutter reccommended it as the best, even though I could have chosen many less expensive options. The set up took a while with repeated errors about the print head. Cartridges would click in place but aren't seated securely, and 2 are on the verge of popping out. They just push in with some spring tension, and don't seat into a bucket like my Epson did. Seems like a bad printhead right out of the gate. Finally got the ink in, and it prints. Noisier than my Epson I replaced. The HP Smart app takes a while to load even though I'm on a new Macbook Pro. Scans just fine with more options than my old printer.

Hard to believe my tenant's kids were hanging off of the handle and broke the door open and the stove top below it. I do not want the icloud storage and i do not want to be charged for it. so how do i get this deleted?
If you have already accepted it/signed up, then go into the Apple App Store under your ID and you will see all subscriptions, and can cancel from there: Type App Store on the Mac then select your name in the bottom left. Click Account Settings at the top of the screen, then scroll down to the Manage section and select the Manage link beside Subscriptions.

Why can't I get the 5 yr Geek plan on appliances on my Total Tech acct? I either have to pay extra for installation of dishwasher with 5 yr or go thru total tech get free delivery/installation but only 2 yr protection.
I wish I knew why they don't offer it like that, but I compare extended warranty periods from L*wes and H8me Depot and appliance lifetimes (usually 3 years), and find that 5 years is practical. I didn't see the need for a Total Tech/GS membership, so we purchased the 5 year extended warranties on our appliances instead of the recurring monthly membership.
