GE stacking kit for washer/dryer

Needed this kit in order to stack my new GE washer/dryer. It took 2 weeks to come in, but was necessary for a locked in safe stacking. However, read the directions carefully. The installer had a hard time understanding how they worked because they are totally different for other brands. He even installed them backwards. We had to reinstall them ourselves so that the dryer would sit on top of the washer even with the front edge.

Install problems

Have had many installs by Best Buy that went great, but this is the first that went really bad. Three different of delivery people and installers over a 3 week period and none of them were familiar with GE washer/dryers. Best Buy Geek Squad and delivery managers helped get us taken care of thankfully, but in the end we ourselves had to reinstall the dryer hose connection and fix the stack kit correctly. Pacific Home store personal were very helpful as well They tried very hard to get it done. Still love Best Buy and will use their installers!

This is the best semi flexible hose kit needed. The attachments are needed to connect the hose at both ends. However, the hose itself is fairly rigid and hard to maneuver around. It will take some time to get it right to fit well.

Much better hose system to use than the older style plain black rubber hose. The steel braiding will help keep the hose from bursting and flooding the room. However this kit had to be replaced with the correct 3 hose and connector kit to be used with the steam dryer. Make sure to get the right kit to start with.
