Great product with a few quirks

Works good. Had to buy an HDMI extension cable because of where HDMI cable hooked up was on TV couldn't plug the unit in. Occasionally it will flicker to a black screen for a millisecond and you will have to unplug and plug back in the port. May have to do this procedure once it twice a month. Has a lot of free content and a lot of educational shows for your kids.

Activate now is cheaper because you are activating in store. Activate now only applies to some carriers like sprint, Verizon. Or any other you can pull from the drop down menu. Carriers that aren't listed such as boost, cricket, metro don't have an option for activate now.
As long as the phone supports the bands of cell phone signal that are supplied internationally it should work.
