My son loves this tablet. He has access to play his learning games without the worry of him getting into apps or dialing people.
I like that it has a parent's and kids mode on it.
On the parents side you can download and give access to certain programs for your kids.
Only 2 down sides I can think of is sometimes it will boot into the parent mode and the camera is absolutely horrible

Activate now is cheaper because you are activating in store. Activate now only applies to some carriers like sprint, Verizon. Or any other you can pull from the drop down menu. Carriers that aren't listed such as boost, cricket, metro don't have an option for activate now.
As long as the phone supports the bands of cell phone signal that are supplied internationally it should work.
