It does what it needs to, record tv shows that are available with an antenna. You just buy an external hard drive, plug it in the USB port, then you have your own DVR without cable. So you can even record WWE smackdown and keep it forever. When you had cable they wouldn't let you keep your recordings forever. The only problem is when your antenna is receiving a weak signal, you may miss a recording or get scramble vision. Sometimes the weak antenna signal can cause the machine to lag so make sure you check on the signal every now and then and move the antenna if the signal is weak. Because if you wait a couple of days, you might be surprised to see all your recordings messed up.

A classic remade but not as good as part 2. Well, 2 was always better than 3 but 3 still has its great moments as well. As expected, high quality production with intense, realistic sound. This one is great at it's sale price since it's shorter than 2. This game must have originated like over 20 years ago. It's quite remarkable that it still has a huge impact on video game players today. The entire series can now be played on ps4 or Xbox consoles in it's updated form. Now that is awesome.

3 great games at a bargain price

Great value for this collection of classics. 3 games upgraded to 1080p and 60 fps is great. The gameplay is off the wall with humor and also grittiness in the action. It plays just like you'd expect from classic sega. The series is also now on Xbox via gamepass so is nice to see it reach a larger audience. The scenery is realistic and the open world really feels like you are exploring a real world city. There are shops, restaurants, pedestrians, and lots of interaction. There was an old movie made in the 70s also called Yakuza and in the movie one of the characters used a bicycle as a weapon. It happens in this series as well.

Its a great value budget player from a big name company. I use this to play 4k movies on a 1080p epson projector. The output is still 1080p but HDR can also be displayed as a benefit. So far very good and functional, load times seem almost the same as regular blu ray. Honestly, 1080p seems good enough for me right now.

This game is one of the great wii u games upgraded to 1080p on switch. The soundtrack provides memorable tunes, the gameplay is 2d classic style. This will take you back to the games of the 90s era when Donkey Kong Country was king of the jungle. If you like videogames, this one is one of those, not a cinematic adventure like alot of today's releases. Very challenging game but there is also an easy mode for casual gamers.

Incredible value from Epson and bestbuy

One of the best products ever sold on bestbuy. The first time I set it up, it was out of focus so I was worried 1080p just wasn't good enough at 120 inches. However everything was fixed with the focus dial, this thing really is that impressive! I am using a beige
colored wall and the light output of the projector is strong enough to display near perfect colors as good or better than my 46 inch aquos from 2007. It overpowers the beige wall. I feel I dont need a screen, it already looks good. The immersiveness of 120 inches really gives you that cinematic feel too. If you stand close to the wall, it looks just like a tv with the screendoor effect. It is amazing to see something like a giant tv on your wall.

This projector is simply awesome when there is no or minimal direct sunlight blazing into your room. 1080p is still good enough for a 120 inch image, it is still a very clean, sharp image so dont worry about it. I was worried 1080p would look faded at that size but it looks great, like better than movie theater level film quality. You definitely want a good bitrate though, which means blu ray is going to always be better than youtube and other streaming. Definitely an awesome product at night and can also be very enjoyable in the early morning and before noon. The most struggles I have is around 1-4:30 pm when the sun is strongest even with thick curtains closed, the sunlight gets through and the image can look faded. I find that tv shows on blu ray tend to have bolder color than films and they can look better than movies during the daytime. You definitely should watch film at night. Videogames also have strong, bold color and can be played during the day. Although I prefer watching shows and movies on this projector so I unhooked the games consoles. It is because good gameplay can simply be enjoyable at any size, small or large. Also to be honest, it feels just a bit laggy compared to my old aquos. I also tried a chromebox computer and the the mouse lag could be felt by just a bit. Get this for movies and shows.
I bought this 1080p projector simply because most of the best entertainment in history is in 1080p anyways. A 4k projector will be more useful and cheaper down the road when there is plenty of movies and games released in 4k. There is simply not that much content compared to 1080p and you would be wasting the life of a 4k projector if most of the stuff you viewed on it was 1080p. Xbox series x and ps5 have just gotten started and so many films are still not filmed in real 4k. So 1080p should suit alot of people just fine. And if you sit back about 10 feet, it looks great with no pixelization and very good color. 1080p is still impressive.
There are 20000 hours expected on this projector you can use it 5 hours a day for a long time. The power output in watts is around 200-300 depending on brightness level, not much different than my old 46 inch aquos tv. That is an impressive stat. The sound is really good too so you can skip the soundbar purchase. Since you can place the product a couple of feet from the wall, it really makes a great alternative to a tv. It is not that heavy and can be moved easily to another room. A 85 inch tv can be cheaper, give you 4k and can be watched without fading during the daytime. But tvs can also develop vertical lines in the middle of the screen, overheat and crack because of their thin frames, and develop other issues. A big tv is hard to move. So my personal decison was this projector.

Is an antenna absolutely necessary with this box? I only live a couple of miles from the two major broadcast towers in my city, and would like to avoid the expense of an antenna if possible. Thanks!

How much recording space/time is on the hard drive?
You must provide your own external hard drive. I use a 2TB hard drive, record a 720p 1 hour international news program every weekday and another 90 minute broadcast every weekend. After one year, I still have about two thirds of the hard drive space remaining. I didn't delete any of the news programs and also recorded other stuff.
