The games themselves are great. Aladdin in particular is an all time classic and 5 stars alone. The animation and graphics on that one were amazing given the technical limitations at the time of release. The package itself is a 3 star package. These games belong in a bigger collection of games such as the Sega genesis mini console rather than being sold like this. Or they could have included Jungle Book.

Both the original and this update are great and unique. This story should be remade and reinterpreted continuously similar to stories such as Batman, Sonic or other pop culture. Great value here, the game has a good story, excellent sound design, and square enix has hired expert action game designers to provide the gameplay. Incredible collaborative effort. Very satisfying graphics as well which does not try to do too much with the limitations of the system. DLC is offered for free with this version so it is a very good deal.

Nintendo DS inspired graphics in this one. But with a more updated animation and resolution. The game is a 2d side scroller that you will need to dedicate alot of time to if you want to get far. So if you play lots of games, it might be hard for you to put in enough time for this. If you play one game at a time and need a game that will give you lots of gameplay, grab it.

This is a throwback game back to the time when games were simple and very easy to pick up and play. It will satisfy old school gamers for sure but won't push your system to its limits. The graphics are similar to Cuphead for the characters. Lots of color and vibrancy and 2d gameplay. If you gravitate towards niche games that don't get enough recognition then this one is for you. Easy to pick up and have fun with.

This game has a very nice presentation that meets the high standards of the original arcade series. The music is nice and fitting for the theme. It has a nice roster to select from. Alot of other fighting series have disappointed this generation but this one seems to be one that breaks that trend. The graphics have that cel shaded look but you can tell they are still polygons similar to Street Fighter 4. Overall pretty good graphics that will satisfy but not the best. The gameplay is very good, not the fastest and flashiest game but very satisfying impacts with great effects.

This game must be running at 1080p and 60 fps on xbox one s since it is so sharp to look at. The graphics are colorful, flashy and the moves are so fast and over the top. Action is all over the place with multi hit specials, aerial attacking, and walking on walls . The impact of the moves can definitely be felt with the hits in this one. The game is cel shaded so it looks perfect for the subject matter. Games like Jump Force decided to go a different route, but this is much more appropriate. Controls respond very well and the game does not have an over complex system that discourages less experienced gamers. Just all around high quality for such a fun game. One of my favorite games of the generation since alot of the big series fighting games disappointed.

Big downgrade again in graphics this generation

What happened this time? Soul Calibur 5 on Xbox 360 was one of the most graphically impressive games of the last generation. The backgrounds on that one were amazing especially given the limitations of the platform. The color was vibrant and that game could have passed for an Xbox one/PS4 release. This time around you get muddy and extremely blurry backgrounds on the newer superior hardware. They really are boring and some times they look like they are not even made from polygons kind of like how Virtua Fighter 2 looked on Sega Saturn. However, VF2 on Saturn's backgrounds weren't blurry. They were sharp and vibrant. Just look at the water on some of the stages for Soul Calibur 6. That is some of the most unimpressive water you'll see on this generation or last generation.
Let's talk about the gameplay. The gameplay is inferior to Soul Calibur 4 and 5 because the graphics just look so blurry and unsatisfying. It seems like this game was a rush job or the programmers just aren't fit for using the Unreal engine. They sure added alot of DLC though. The sound effects aren't satisfying either. What happened to the days where you could feel the oomph in the attacks? Games like Street Fighter 3 and Streets of Rage 2 had some impressive sounds effects that made you feel the impact. It seems like game designers have forgotten how to make games that sound like that anymore.
This subpar effort follows the trend of legendary fighting franchises that had inferior releases this generation. Just look at Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, Tekken, Gundam Vs, King of Fighters, Virtual On. They all were better last generation. Especially, artistically all those franchises were more pleasing last generation. Can Samurai Showdown break the trend? Hopefully, since last generation's Samurai Showdown was horrible to begin with.
This game probably didn't sell as well as 4 and 5 which means it could be the final chapter in the game series. But it's a horrible way to end a legendary franchise which has always excelled in graphics and gameplay until now. The first Soul Calibur is available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One backwards compatibility. It still holds up today with its incredible animation, classic music and fun gameplay. This new one unfortunately won't hold up for a fraction of that time.

How much recording space/time is on the hard drive?
You must provide your own external hard drive. I use a 2TB hard drive, record a 720p 1 hour international news program every weekday and another 90 minute broadcast every weekend. After one year, I still have about two thirds of the hard drive space remaining. I didn't delete any of the news programs and also recorded other stuff.
