Bought these for gifts,but i do own one as well, its convenient to install into either a reciever if you have other components running from that, or you can simply plug into a hdmi port to your tv. Then you can start downloading different apps ,i think all the apps to download are free,but using them may require a fee for some,then enter all your info , and hook up to your wifi and start streaming!

Great smart switch if you just need a on/off switch that works well with smart assistant like alexa. Make sure you have a neutral wire for installation, this works with kasa app,i havent gotten into the app much but you may be able to program for switch to turn lights on. This is a much cheaper way to turn lights on and off without replacing with smart bulbs

Ive been replacing bulbs in my house with smart bulbs,but always wanted to be able to control otber fixtures that i could not use smart bulbs like florescent lights and fixtures,as long as theres a neutral wire you can have these switches installed and work great with these different fixtures,and works with our alexa devices,way cheaper than bulbs,and if you know some about electrical wiring not to bad to install.

We dont have the devices you have, and have a cable box that does not have a shutoff but stays on constantly. This remote was able to turn on samsung smart tv, sharp soundbar,and Sony bluray,and vcr combo,although the vcr combo was not able to connect to TV without some other cable/ converter. I would guess if there is a code for any of your devices in the manual that comes with remote,it should work with all your componets/devices.
