I love these Toy Story one-shots; I'd like them more if Disney/Pixar bundled them all together instead of just releasing them piecemeal. Still, the A/V quality is good, and the short film itself is exceptional.

One of the great shows of TV's Golden Age

It's easy to forget about From the Earth to the Moon when discussing the best TV shows of all time. It only ran one season; it wasn't narrative-based; and it feels square in a way that shows like The Sopranos or Breaking Bad do not. But we neglect this series at our own peril. It's a masterpiece, a group of filmic short stories that depict the best of the American character.

A fine version of an imperfect adaptation.

King's source material is essentially unfilmable, but this TV version does the best job of honoring his structure even as it loses the novel's graphic violence. And Tim Curry's Pennywise is iconic.
