The Blues Brothers is perhaps the Granddaddy of all the Saturday Night Live skits to transform to a feature film and in turn have a long-lasting appeal and life. John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd are Jake and Elwood Blues who are determined to reunite their blues band in order to raise five grand for their orphanage. Along the way, these two cause a huge mess across Illinois to what bottoms out as pure entertainment gold! The Blues Brothers also feature a who's who of blues and Gospel artists to push this musical comedy to greatness. The boys make their UHD debut and the results are superb! The print retains its theatrical look without to much heavy grain but the smooth details are noticeable in many scenes. The DTS-X 7.1 audio track is off the chain. Sad it's not a Dolby Atmos Track. The dialog is clear and clean but the soundtrack is an absolute treat! Very robust and thunderous with each some played throughout. The UHD also sports some bonus content carried from the previous Blu-ray release as well as the Extended Version also on the UHD disc. The Blu-ray disc is the same issued one that houses additional extras and both versions of the movie. The bottom line this is a must owned titled for fans and newcomers!

Another Great WB Transfer

This movie was originally shot on 35mm, but for this 2020 release, it was given a brand new 4k digital intermediate! On top of that, as per the norm with UHD releases, it was also given an HDR color grade for your viewing pleasure in HDR10. Let’s just get this out of the way now, this movie looks great through and through, and I’m really impressed!
Not only did they restore the film to its original 1.85:1 aspect ratio, but there’s a new level of depth, clarity, and color noticeable from the very first scene. This remaster looks great, honestly, it looks like it could’ve been shot in the last few years it looks so good. (You can compare it to something like the way IT was produced and shot.) I’m sure you already know that this is a Tim Burton movie? Keeping that in mind, all the new bells and whistles of the UHD format bring his unique visuals to the forefront like never before.
When this remaster was first announced, I would’ve argued with you that a heavy layer of grain needed to be present — don’t you agree? Usually, a movie shot in the 1980s needs a solid layer of grain to bring out all the detail, but to my surprise, there’s practically none in this release and it still works. Instead, you get a film-like appearance with top-notch close-ups and long scenic shots of both worlds, plus everything you can imagine in-between. Now, I could argue that this movie was made for this UHD release. It’s truly amazing that you can’t point out noise reduction and everything looks the way it does… You can see this level of detail in many places throughout the film, but what I focused on was the little things like the grime in Beetlejuice’s teeth and moss growing off of his face.
Warner Brothers traditionally have more good releases than bad ones, but rest assured that this is one of the good ones.
Definitely worth the upgrade from that old blu-ray that wasn't really a good transfer.

Pretty Solid Mic

I bought this so that I would be able to record clear audio without the static noise you would hear on most gaming headset/microphones.
It's easy to set up, merely connect the included cable into both the microphone and USB port on your PC. The instructions are very clear and briefly describes the different modes the microphone has. What I really like about it is that it also tells you what the different modes are recommended for. the "Omni-directional" mode is recommended for instrumental recording, or group singing, etc, etc. It is very friendly towards beginners, especially me since this is my first dedicated microphone.
Since you now have a dedicated microphone, why need your gaming headset right? The microphone even has a headphone jack so you can throw away that $100 headset and use your apple earbuds or whatever 3.5mm earphone you use. On the front of the microphone, there is a dedicated volume knob and a mute button that flashes red, indicating that it is muted. On the back, there is the knob for switching between the different modes the microphone can be as well as a knob to turn up or down how loud the microphone projects the sound it records. "Gains" is what the knob is labeled.
The microphone itself is very well made. Heavy steel (I think its steel?) as a base and a lighter, but still metal body. There are knobs for you to adjust the angle of the microphone, or even unscrew the base so that you can mount on an elevated mount.
The quality of the microphone is superb. It pretty much picks up everything. From mechanical keyboard clicks to you swallowing just a bit loudly. Very very excellent.
So in all, was the 130ish dollars I spent on the product worth it? Yes. Considering how well the microphone sounds and the fact that I will be using this when I stream on twitch and record commentary for youtube videos, I feel like this is a very good investment this should probably last me for a couple of years.

The Movie is easily one of the best 80's movies & one of the best action movies ever. The Video is really good, 35mm scan with barely any dnr removal. It's vibrant & sharp, Audio isn't bad but the same as the standard blu-ray. Sad it isn't a Dobly Atmos track. The special features are the same exact ones from the blu-ray,

This film is meticulously constructed, and all of its components fit together almost perfectly. Creepily paced, wonderfully acted, and menaced throughout, Alien is one of the best films ever made.
This transfer is really good & defiantly worth the upgrade. The only 2 downsides are the DTS-HD MA 5.1 audio, instead of a Dolby Atmos Track & lack of Special Features.

Almost every aspect is polished to a fine sheen, with a particular standout being the world itself, and the new emphasis on telling a mature and meaningful story that explores remarkably complex themes. God of War sets a new bar for storytelling and world building in games, and transforms Kratos from a one note character to a fascinating man with a story worth hearing. If you have a PS4, this is a must have title.

It's another great LEGO game. The only downside to this version is it is a bit blurry in handheld mode (on the switch, but not as bad on the switch lite) in docked it seems fine. The only other issue is low fps from time to time, but that's all the LEGO games on switch.
