Little Powerhouse Solves a 4 year old problem.

When we bought our house here in Florida we knew it was one that had been built to exceed the State Hurricane Standards. We didn't realize that this meant that WiFi, even with top tier equipment, would not work well. One machine, my wife's, only about 20 ft from the router could not get a reliable signal with any adapter, and I tried many. When the next to last one proved unreliable I went to Best Buy and started looking for something radically different. This ASUS adapter had a good price and has proven to be able to pull in a good signal even though it is such a small device. My wife is happy and so am I.

I have a spare laptop that I use for CD Ripping. The CD drive suffered a failure when the ribbon cable hung and tore. It was much cheaper to buy this LG Drive than to get an OEM replacement. The drive itself is of excellent build quality and works well for CD Ripping. Overall I'd recommend this as an inexpensive alternative for anyone needing to replace a failed laptop drive.

This is another example of the different music and mastering that can come with a collection. The disk was in the $5 bin at the front of the store and I couldn't resist.
