My son got back from an animation convention and found that his old Viewsonic monitor had completely died. Since he makes his living in Graphic Arts he couldn't be without a monitor, fortunately the HP 25f monitor was on sale at Best Buy and has proven an acceptable monitor for his work.

When WIFI just won't cut it

We have a "Mother-in-Law" suite in this house which is about as far from our wireless router as you can get and still be in the house. We keep a PC setup in that room for use by family when they want privacy, but it's wifi wasn't reliable at all. The 1200MBS powerline ethernet adapters from Netgear turned the internet in the spare room into a solid reliable connection. Good enough that we bought two more to solve another problem and keep one as a spare.

Good Basic Laptop

My son was having computer troubles, his PC had started rebooting at random ( it still is doing this after several OS re-installs ) and his Netbook isn't up to his daily work. We found this Dell laptop on BestBuy.com and it fitted his needs perfectly. It's a very basic, well made machine which would have been much more costly just a few years ago. He's quite happy with it.

This is one of the "Best of" collections released under the ICON label. Grand Funk Railroad was a distinct part of the music that filled my youth. This particular collection has all the standards you'd expect and was well executed. It was a bargain at $5.99.
