Referring specifically to episodes 1-6, the remastering is not up to the par with modern releases. However this is just about the best the movies have looked thus far. 7-9 are absolute perfection.

Funny how much this and the 2nd part of the original miniseries have in common. Nether are as engaging or suspenseful as the first part, and the ending suffers due to over simplification of Kings original book.
Overall it’s highly enjoyable and the 4K presentation is excellent!
