Fishing and jobs are becoming scarce in the small seaport village of Graves Point, when mysterious deaths and unexplained disappearances begin to occur. Divers vanish and a young couple disappears at sea, their empty raft washing up on shore. When a large strange claw is discovered on the raft, the unsettled townspeople call on the marine biologist Dr. Herbert Talley who identifies it as belonging to a rare, giant squid. Special two-disc edition with over 80 minutes of restored footage.

Great Creature Movie

This movie has been lost in obscurity and was supposedly panned by critics, but I don't really see why. It's got solid acting (William Peterson knocks it out of the park), an acceptable plot, and the practical effects are good for a TV movie (although there's one scene that's really bad and you'll know it when you see it). If you've seen Jaws, this movie is very similar to that, but that's to be expected when both novels were written by Peter Benchley. That's not to say this is a ripoff, but they are indeed similar enough that you could almost say this is Jaws with a giant squid instead of a shark. It also takes a note from Jaws 3 that wasn't in the novel. Regardless, this is a very enjoyable movie to simply watch with friends, or add to your collection if you're a lover of creature flicks.

OK, those complaining about the movie what'd you expect? It's Seth Rogen, you know what to expect when you watch his movies, crude humor, jokes, mild drug use etc. If you can't laugh at the premise of this movie then I guess you need to go back to the Oscar movies you typically watch. If you want to laugh for 90 mins and forget about things then this is your movie, nothing serious, not a lot of deep thinking just humor and coming of age confusion many of us feel at age 12..trying to figure out where you fit in as your friends change and your body changes.

Action and intrigue

Wow, this takes me back in time! This was a well-made film from the early 90s that has a captivating story while showcasing some great taekwondo scenes by Julian Lee. The actors are earnest in their roles, and the characters keep the storyline progressing. It really is interesting to see this time capsule from 1992 Denver, CO. The video restoration is excellent

Formulaic but great nonetheless

The film is follows a familiar formula. It has a darker tone at times than The Karate Kid, but it still has some of those same themes. This is one of the best martial arts B-movies from this era. Is it original? No. Is it a blast? Absolutely. The cast and crew do a great job and really convey the story well. The Bluray looks great. The picture is great. The extra features are really good and give fans a great insight into the making of this film. A great addition for any collector or fan of martial arts movies.

Bitten by a vampire just before daybreak, hapless hunter Harry Bane (Frank Whaley) staggered to the only available shelter from the sun... a little-used tool shack on an isolated property. The trapped and hungry changeling gets discovered by the landowner's grandson-put-upon high schooler Stan (Jay Jay Warren)-who sees this supernatural squatter as the perfect means of dealing with his tormentors. Shocker co-stars Timothy Bottoms, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Cody Kostro, Sofia Happonen. 98 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

Fun and Creepy

I loved it. Great visuals, creepy, not a jump scare kind of movie but a classic ghost story. Also the acting was really solid especially main actor (who is not only super attractive but also a originally a mixed martial artist). I think this movie will become a hidden gem.

This is an apples to oranges review. Let's make that clear. Now that we've got that out of the way, this tops everything Marvel has ever put out.

It was a rotten morning at work for corporate lawyer Derek Cho (Steven Yuen) when craven colleagues sought to make him the fall guy for a costly mistake. Still, that might be the best part of his day... after his office high-rise gets placed on lockdown, thanks to a viral outbreak that makes all exposed within uninhibitedly violent! Can he make it through the bloody exit interviews between him and the lobby door? Satirical, over-the-top horror-actioner co-stars Samara Weaving, Steven Brand, Caroline Chikezie, Kerry Fox. 86 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

4 + 1 more star because it was ¢99. Fun, campy, and self aware action movie satirizing corporate life, possibly even cathartic if you're a 9-5 cubicle grinder. Great quality production values and acting. The chemistry between the two main protagonists is great. Like in TWD Steven Yeun does an excellent job of being a relatable everyman action hero complimented by Samara Weaving as a sarcastic badass. The pace isn't always perfect but I personally think Mayhem puts the office pandemonium premise to better use than the better known The Belko Experimen
