Not a great film but fun to watch. The trailer alone would entice you with the plot of the Assassin.

Troubled adolescent Brandon Breyer (Jackson A. Dunn) was finally tipped to the truth that his farmer parents (Elizabeth Banks, David Denman) withheld from him-that he possessed strange and superhuman abilities because he was a foundling from another world. Unfortunately, this young sociopath is less about truth, justice, and the American way than violently bending mankind to his will. Very dark spin on a very familiar pop mythos co-stars Matt Jones, Meredith Hagner, Becky Wahlstrom. 90 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

I had a friend that went to the theatre and saw this movie and came back with nothing but raves, So I brought it and looked at it last night. I was pleasantly surprise to see that it was actually very good. We need a sequel!!!! The acting was great and the content was intellectually simulating. Part science fiction part horror...nice combination

It's doubtful that anybody needs another glowing review of "Stand by Me". Like the "Shawshank Redemption", it's a near perfect adaptation of a Stephen King novella. In fact, both of the original stories can be found and enjoyed in his "Different Seasons" book. This review and rating is for the 25th Anniversary edition of the film.

An action-packed fun film worthy of being the next installment for Lego Batman! Although there was a mysterious lack of a certain Robin, there was a generous involvement of the Red Hood, whom I'm a fan of, so I am happy. I was fortunate to catch a viewing at SDCC 2019 and the staff mentioned, when questioned, that the certain Robin may have been off on his own adventure. Family Matters has been adapted to be lighter for a younger audience but still focuses on the important message in its title. Don't pick this up expecting a heavy or serious adaptation and you should enjoy a fun time!

This movie is far better than it deserves to be. While the second film was VOD trash, Escape Plan 3 is a flick where you can tell everyone is putting their hearts and souls on the line. There are no less than three action scenes that genuinely felt like they could be in a "John Wick" movie and the plot is fast and brutal and just what this franchise needed. This movie also has a secret weapon and his name is Devon Sawa. He's brilliantly entertaining as the movie's villain and someone needs to give this guy his own action franchise.

Heroine hacker Lisbeth Salander (Claire Foy) faces another harrowing challenge when she sets out to safeguard a programmer (Stephan Merchant) and his autistic son (Christopher Convery) when the father's missile defense override application has placed them in the crosshairs of both the NSA and a covert cadre of Russian cyber-terrorists. American reboot for the Stieg Larsson-created suspense series also stars Lakeith Stanfield, Sylvia Hoeks, and Sverrir Gudnason as Mikael Blomkvist. 117 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.

've seen the original films which are great, but David Fincher's "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" will always be my favorite because I love his eye for detail and dark subject matter. I enjoyed this movie a lot but you have to go in expecting a James Bond type movie where you don't think too critically about the plot or you will get upset. Claire Foy did a great job as Lisbeth. The actors I was most excited to see though were Sylvia Hoeks (from the newest Blade Runner) and Conrad Britton (Ed Kemper from Netflix's Mindhunter series). I hope they make another film.

Big olé shark

a very expensive movie with usual characters and the promised big shark. but...same old movie, same usual characters, and a very big large-toothed shark with no personality. just like all the others he eats a lot. see? you knew that. well, that is all there is here. same'ole, same'ole. nothing at all is new or different we have not seen many times already. they have spent a lot of money here, but it didn't buy any thrills, chills or moments of fright or wide eyes. I am really sorry there wasn't a director that would make us blink a little.

This is hilarious. It was funnier than the movie they released in theaters, but equally as epic. The voice actors shine as they play both variations. This is great for a fan of not just DC animation but the comics as they consistently make great references for fans.

Once again, Dinos steal the show in the latest of the new Jurassic World story. This time greed and an emerging danger combine to tell a dramatic tale of a race against time as the former park faces destruction from the volcano. The actors were perfectly cast, and their interaction carried the picture to an interesting conclusion ( perhaps setting the stage for the final film, due I believe 2021) and which promises to be just as good as its prievous films. Get the bluray and watch the final extra by Barbasol its great! but only on the bluray. Get your copy today!

Good Sci-fi

If you're a fan of the books like me, you'll appreciate this movie as long as you understand it probably wasn't designed to be a 7-part series. You'll appreciate the references to the books. They did an ok job of making the books in to a movie, but I wonder what the movie would be like to someone who hasn't read the books; I feel like it wouldn't make a lot of sense. I was hoping they were going to go all the way and bring this elaborate world and story to fruition, but they still made a decent movie. Roland played really well, but I didn't care for the portrayel of the man in black. Something was off. Worth seeing, just lower the bar a bit.
