I'm not sure why this move did so bad. The story is OK. Not as good as the original Marvel Phoenix Saga story but it is what it is. The cast was great. Action is good. Would I love to see this follow the "comic book exactly one day"? Yes of course. Perhaps one day Marvel will re-due this. In the meantime, its worth seeing.

First off the packaging and disk were good. Had a few extras with interviews and the such also good. The Movie Itself: For people who like campy creature films such as ghoulies, gremlins you may enjoy this film. The acting is pretty stiff with this young cast, But not enough to really bother me. the movie does have some genuinely fun parts. The Critter puppets are well done ..... For the Critters Fans such as myself It may be harder to swallow. Dee Wallace is back but in a different role. The continuity of the other films are thrown out with conflicting information from the other films. It felt more like a watered down parody of the original movies than an actual entry into the franchise. I would Rent this one.

Unrated version which is the one I recommend. Came with a digital hd copy ultraviolent that you can upload onto you digital library. Which worked also, and I was able to upload on my digital library. The unrated version also comes with a ton of extras which is awesome. I highly recommend this underrated horror film that kind of escaped some peoples minds when it came out because it didn't do very huge. Great film.

Don’t watch just because like the first one

The movie attempts to pick up on the survival fear of the first, but looses the suspense. The set up is a little wacky. The sheriff thinks he should go caving with the girl tied to his wrist. The elements are better defined than the first, but they loose the mystery and unpredictability. The darkness played a large part of the first movie. Without it the environment is only creepy. Seeing the monsters also lessens them. Any horror writer will tell you that it is always scarier to let the reader imagine what the monsters are.
If the first movie was 'Pitch Black' (it wasn't) this movie is 'The Haunting'

It's all fun and games until someone gets stabbed with a tire iron. When a pledge week prank goes terribly wrong and one of their own is killed, the popular, hard-partying sisters of Theta Pi vow never to speak of the tragedy again. But the past comes back to haunt them in the form of a homicidal maniac seeking revenge during the out-of-control graduation festivities.

I remember the trailers and I remember thinking it looked stupid. But the truth is, Sorority Row is a nice and traditional slasher flick, it's now a SCREAM-clone. It's a proper throwback. If you appreciate slasher films, return to this one we all ignored it when it came out and that's our loss. But we still have time to make up for it.

This is a revenge movie

A bit of action and a bit of a thriller. A child gets kidnapped in this movie and is used to extort a couple million dollars out of the father of the boy who has a multi-million dollar business. I was going in to this movie quite happily but it dragged on a bit for my liking so I was asking myself when this was going to end in high anticipation when the last thirty minutes were left. I can't fault Mel Gibson's acting in this production and neither can I fault any of the others who had their role. No spoilers here. Still worth a watch even if it was made in the late nineties.

The critics and public agree. Brian de Palma's The Untouchables is a must-see masterpiece - glorious, fierce, larger-than-life depiction of the mob warlord who ruled Prohibition-era Chicago... and the law enforcer who vowed to bring him down. This classic confrontation between good and evil and stars Kevin Costner as federal agent Eliot Ness, Robert de Niro as gangland kingpin Al Capone and Sean Connery as Malone, the cop who teaches Ness how to beat the mob shoot fast and shoot first.

Great filmmaking isn't necessarily accurate or true to life and The Untouchables shows that clearly. As a history buff I prefer as much accuracy as possible, even in a fictional retelling of history. For a movie like this I have to remind myself that it is for entertainment purposes only. Here they start with a few real life characters and events and tell a primarily fictional story. Fortunately they get enough period details correct and tell a very engaging story so that I can forget about what actually happened while I'm watching the film.
