The guys who brought you There's SOMETHING ABOUT MARY and DUMB AND DUMBER strike again with a gut-busting farce that's 'Just too funny!' (Los Angeles Times) Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid and Vanessa Angel come up winners in this riotous, joke-a-second comedy with plenty of balls.

Fun popcorn flick

Not much to add as most other reviewers pretty much covered everything. This appears to be a love it or hate it flick. Most haters complain that it's not scientifically accurate. Yes, there are many scientific inaccuracies in this film. However, this is a popcorn flick meant to entertain, not a documentary. The other common complaint is the hyper-active editing where most scenes last only seconds. I can see how this may turn some off, but it doesn't bother me and keeps the pace fast for this rather long movie. I love this movie because it's full of action, comedy, adventure, and gets very emotional at the end. Some of the visuals are truly spectacular, and it has one of the best original music scores of any film I've ever seen. The music really gets the emotions flowing. One of my favorite movies ever, hands down.

Universal Assemble. Tournament of Power

This set covers episodes 92-104. We finally see the 7th universe team together (maybe a little different than we expected???) as they embark on a new journey... The battle for survival begins! The really cool part about this set is the reveal of the other universes' teams. As I've followed this arc on Toonami, the dub seems to be getting more creative with their translating rather than simply translating exclusively from the original, Japanese dub. This is a turn off for some, but I don't mind considering the original sub is included as well. This is a great collection of episodes that really set up the finale of the ToP.

The definitive horror anthology

Horror movie anthologies are an odd bunch. They have huge devoted fan followings, are extremely entertaining and fun, are loaded with amazing cameos and yet they never flourish with more films for some reason. Hell, Michael Dougherty's Halloween masterpiece Trick r Treat got screwed out of its theatrical release inexplicably and almost didn't even get released period! Whenever you are craving a great horror anthology it doesn't get any better than Creepshow and Michael Dougherty's amazing Trick r Treat. At a solid 2 hour runtime with 5 great stories (ok "Father's Day" is weak) it makes for an excellent October double feature with Trick r Treat. An absolute must own for horror hounds like myself. Horror anthologies need to come back again!

The rotting Creep himself is back with three new gruesome tales of horror that will make your skin crawl A cigar store wooden Indian comes to life to avenge the store owner's brutal murder at the hands of three punks in "Ol' Chief Woodenhead." Then four teenagers become the target of a terrifying, man-eating oil slick in "The Raft." the chills continue with "The Hitchhiker," the chilling tale of a woman who keeps running into, and over, the same mutilated man on a lonely road. Prepare for a terrifying roller coaster ride from the masters of horror!

Let me start off by saying, this is a great documentary about the making of Creepshow. I feel like we really had no good supplemental material with the DVD and Blu-Ray copies of the film. This more than makes up for that! George A. Romero and tom Savini both have large parts in making this thing as good as it is. There were also several interviews with some other members of the cast and crew (grips and all). The thing I'm a bit disappointed in, however, is - why couldn't they get Stephen King to talk to them? He may just not be interested in this anymore, but his insight would have been the cherry on top. I have no doubt this would be a 5 star release for me. We will settle at 4 though. I will say - if you're a fan of Creepshow at all...you should definitely buy this! It's well worth your money.
