It was the same on the outside as the one shown to me at the store but not on the inside. Again, I have a fussy infant and making several trips to the store is not easy.

Overall this is the best vac I have owned. However it got four stars because the hose unit is not easy to deal with when you want to use the small attachments. Suction is fantastic, but the floor piece is very low to the floor so if it finds say a small chunk of toast that has fallen off the table it will push it around unless you tilt the vac up to get it.
