The new bracket was necessary. I replaced an older Samsung with a newer model. The new Samsung was a fifty five inch TV. This was the same size as the older model. During installation of the new television, I was advised that I needed a "current" bracket. Seemed silly to me, but I guess this was a way for Samsung to make even more money. A third party installed the new bracket. He was advised I wanted it at the same height as the older bracket and television. However, it was hung higher. Also, two wires were left showing on the wall. Previously, the wires were in the wall and not visible. While the bracket works fine, the installation was a mess. can not rate the overall experience as positive.

For the first time in my long term relationship as a customer of Best Buy, this, unfortunately, must be a negative review. First, I requested the television be mounted on the wall at the same height as previous. Not sure how this happened, but this did not occur. It is clearly higher. Second, my bedroom, where the television was hung has a wooden floor. The technician scratched the floor while installling. Not sure how this happened but can only assume he was just too lazy to lift the console that house all television necessities, ie cable box, wires etc. Very disappointing

Thereafter, they reviewed everything with us. Very important, therafter the installers had my wife and I operate the products to ensure everything was a go.
