My son got this with his go-pro. It is what it is i.e. peace of mind. I would say that one year can come up fast and in his case for a go-pro that is built o withstand accidental drops etc it is probably not worthwhile

I didn't use this. I find these trial periods which you have to sign up first to be exactly what they are designed for a way to get you looped in. I don't have a problem with that however. I am not saying this is a bad service I have one of the original lifetime versions from 10 years ago. I just use other streaming services on my phone. I recommend if you have not tried the service before. Just remember to cancel if you dont like it!
