Small disclaimer...DO NOT play this game if you don't know the whole story! People who just played KH1&2 are going to be lost! All the previous games have been made available on PS4 at this point in nice tidy collections. There's even a game called "The Story So Far." On top of that, youtube exists and you can sink as little as 20-30 minutes into learning the whole story (although that might not be enough for all the finer details).
Anyway, if you know what's going on the game delivers what you've been waiting for over the last 13 years. Graphics are unbelievable! Finally a bunch of new worlds and characters! The story gives you exactly what you've needed all these years and hopefully you'll be satisfied like I was.

My only issue is that the artstyle is somewhat hit or miss. Sometimes I'll look at it and think it's beautiful...and then seconds later while looking at the same screen I'll think it looks ugly. I don't know...it's just something I get with this game. I like this style typically, but this game just...I don't know how to explain it. Anyway, it's a fun indie platformer and it gives you a fair challenge too. Not quite as long as I'd like considering it's price, but there's plenty of collecting and replayability.

Honestly, I expected more from the minds that brought us No More Heroes...but I guess the limited budget sort of shows. It's fine I guess, but certain levels are way more fun than others. Honestly, I feel like this game is pretty much just an olive branch...buy me and I'll give you No More Heroes 3!

So...I'm going to be honest...I expected much more. So far, I'm not impressed and I'm hoping that I'll see a patch or update fix things to how I feel they should be. As for the game itself...it's a lot like destiny...so maybe like destiny they'll make it better over time. The graphics are pretty great, the action can be amazing too...when it wants to be, and sometimes it's a lot of fun. Hopefully things get better before the player base leaves.
