I bought this movie on a price match. The 4K movie has a sepia cinematography look to it which fits well with the story. There is no High Dynamic Range grading but the picture does not suffer from the lack of it.The image is clear with good shadows. The Dolby Atmos has good effects inthe height channels.

I bought this on release day. Case has a slipcover which I actually like better than the steel book. The case includes a 4K and a Blu-Ray disc.The 4K image is very good showing good detail. HDR handles night and low light images very well with no black crush or white bloom. Dolby atmos is clear and immersive.

This movie has a great looking steel book with a transparent slipcover. The 4k image is good,with nice attention to details.Film grain looks good. The High Dynamic Range shows nice blacks and balanced white. No deep colors because much of film is in shadows and lower light.That were High Dynamic Range takes over. DTS sound is good but mainly up front with rears handling music and some effects. I got it because of all the actors that were up and coming at time movie was made.

I bought this movie on release day. The slip cover is very nice with a haunting look to it. Package has 4k color and black&white versions and the same for Blu-Ray , 4 discs in all. I watched the 4k black & white version and it looked good nothing of high contrast. The image seemed more of a gray. Sound was clear.

I bought the Blu ray only because this movie has yet to be produced in 4K. This is one of my favorite war movies. It shows that in war, the other side has the same disruption of life,the same fears and the same hopes and dreams.And that maybe all combat soldiers just want to get back home and to normal life without warfare. Time will show this to be a classic film. The film has near black and white photography with splashes of color(explosions) to give the film a bleak look. I listened to track 2 5.1 DD true HD and it was immersive with explosions and gun fire heard in distance.

I picked this up on sale for $29.00(but it is now on sale for $20.00). For a 39 year old show many of the episodes hold up very well with good writing,action and moody music that seems to perfectly match given scenes. Several stand out episodes,the pilot ,anything with Pam Grier and anything concerning Calderone. Blu Ray image has smooth look.I expected to see more film grain. colors are nice but not vivid. DTS sound is okay but not immersive or much separation.

This is a fine 4k disc. I love the picture on the box. The film has very good looking natural color. Skin tones look natural. And the desert scenes and other landscapes and sky look beautiful. The High Dynamic Range is excellent with good black levels and vibrant color and bright picture. DTS-HD Master audio was fine but Atmos mix would have been good.

Immediately with the first scene in the movie you notice the vivid and deep colors of the Mars landscape and the sharpness of the astronauts space suits. The High Dynamic Range is excellent and consistent the entire movie. colors are deep and vivid with no black crush or white blooming.Colors are true and flesh tones look natural. The Atmos sound is immersive and bass is good. The film is also a first rate thriller.

This 4K disc comes in a very attractive Steel Book and slipcover.The art on the slipcover is as I remember the original poster art. when the movie starts you immediately hear the great sound that has been upgraded to Dolby Atmos. Sound is immersive and surrounds you with movement.Rocks seem to fall from overhead.You hear low rumbles and thunderous bass. The picture is clear and shows good detail and film grain. The High Dynamic Range shows deep realistic colors and torch lit scenes looks like Torch Lit scenes.
