I upgraded from an old Sony Blu-Ray player, and this was a MAJOR step up in terms of processing power for animated menus, streaming apps, and having dual band wi-fi. I haven't had any real problems with this player. Very good A/V quality via HDMI into my 5.1 Sony audio receiver and Insignia HDTV.

Inconsistent audio quality

The connection through this splitter cable was not very consistent. I constantly had issues with it cutting out between channels. I replaced it with an item from Amazon that's worked flawlessly for over a year now.
