I’ve read the reviews and I’ve seen how easily the mugs chip, so I’m treating this like it’s the most delicate piece of china. Stirring with a plastic baby spoon...
The cup took a minute to pair via Bluetooth. I had to reset my phone for it to pop up on my list. Just follow the directions and troubleshoot and you’ll get there.
Don’t pour lukewarm coffee in and expect the Ember to heat it up. This cup maintains temperature but the battery will die pretty quickly if it’s heating a cup up from 120 degrees. I’ve found 135-139 degrees to be a nice range for my coffee.
It’s a wonderful luxury if you keep your expectations in check. You’ll need to recharge regularly or just keep the coaster handy to set it down on. It’s perfect for when you’re working at a desk.

It’s a good case for the XR. It fits snuggly and it closes fine. It has two credit card slots on the inside front cover. It doesn’t have a magnetic click so the front kind of dangles, though. I thought this was kind of odd, since you want your cards secure and all.
