A flawed masterpiece

Jedi Fallen Order is a surprising offering from EA, who normally deliver on big blockbusters with heavy online competitive gameplay and busting at the sides with microtransations. Instead, the game is entirely single-player, and not a single monetized feature to be found in-game.
Taking cues from the likes of From's Dark Soul series, the player must fight waves of hard-hitting enemies with precisely-timed parries and attacks, gaining experience with which to then spend on skills and new abilities at the game's bonfire-like meditation circles. However, where a Souls game maintains a consistent difficulty that is made easier or harder based on the player's stat allocation, Fall Order grants its player the mercy of multiple difficulties, including a "Story mode" one for those who want to enjoy the plot above all else.
Despite it's similarities to the Souls series, the AI of many enemies can range from fast and aggressive, to confusingly stupid, as glitches can see enemies either caught on level geometry or simply unwilling to engage the player. Speaking of glitches, texture pop-in and crashes are present in the current build, but thankfully nothing that will threaten the player's precious save data or render their game unable to be completed.
Additionally, the Metroid Prime style of level layout may be hit or miss for players expecting a more fleshed out open world. Instead, players shall visit a number of locations (some of which are well-known to fans of the Star Wars series), each with their share of secrets to hide and uncover with Cal's ever growing set of skills. Be warned though, many of the unlockables are cosmetic skins, so don't go in expecting to find special weapons or armors.
Even with the negatives mentioned, Jedi Fallen Order still delivers a fun Star Wars experience that is sure to satisfy the appetite of fans who have been wishing for a single-player experience since the days of the old movie tie-in games and the likes of Force Unleashed.

After the case of the Laughing Man, another case falls into the lap of the Section 9 team, this time involving a mysterious group known as the Individual Eleven, and an approaching civil conflict revolving around refugees. Not to mention a man at the center of this mystery has ties to the Major's own past.
The second season boasts the same gorgeous animation, fantastic music, and deep narrative as the first, it's well worth adding to the collection for any Ghost in the Shell fan.

For anybody who was around in the days of the Gameboy, the precursor to the likes of the DS/3DS, and even the Switch itself, Link's Awakening was a must-have title. A quirky, almost satirical take on the then young series, the very first handheld outing for the franchise exploded into popularity that has last well over two decades.
The remake boasts all of the improvements of the title's Gameboy Color rerelease, along with many new features such as the Chamber Dungeon, and Amiibo functionality. The toy-like graphics bring to mind the classic 2D sprites of old, reimagined with the power of 3D polygons, capturing the cute and whimsical style of the characters in a whole new way. The music has also been remade to be much richer than ever before, while still evoking the same memorable melodies that captivated the original players of the 1993 title.
If you're new to the Zelda series, or have only cut your teeth on its first Switch outing, Breath of the Wild, you owe it to yourself to try out this legendary entry in the long-running series.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 sees the return of the fusion of the classic RPG franchise and the Minecraft-inspired block world, now following events set after Dragon Quest II. You play an apprentice builder, and wash ashore of a mysterious island, meeting an amnesiac named Malroth. Together, you must restore hope to the lands, who live under the oppressive teachings of the children of Hargon, who have outlawed building of any kind.
The sequel boasts a number of improvements over the original, chief among them being a first-person, gloves that let you move blocks without the need of smashing them, and many more tools that will have you building faster than ever. The story is also now fully connected, no longer seeing you return to the main menu upon completing a chapter, and instead returning to the island you begin on to turn it into your own personal paradise.
The Switch version does contain a few issues, namely a framerate drop when docked, though these drops are less apparent in the handheld mode. If that is a deal-breaker, then the PS4 version may be your better option. In either case, this game is well worth if you love crafting game, and were a fan of the original.

alright so lets say I have this on digital because its a ps+ exclusive game, if I bought the disk version so I wouldn't have to pay $14.99/month, would I have my data saved? or would the disk just make a new game?
Yes, you would still keep your saves. The subscription to Plus ending would mean no longer having the perks of the cloud backup. The only time it wouldn't work is if you were playing the vanilla version of a game on PS+, but swapped to the physical release of the GOTY edition, though in some cases it may still work.
