If you have a 4k TV with HDR, and a halfway decent sound system you NEED to buy the 4k version of this disc. I was apprehensive as I already owned this version for multiple years. But the difference in resolution, color, Atmos soundtrack, and dynamic range are simply breathtaking. BUY THE 4k VERSION.

Overall, the increased resolution of the 4k movie is not very impressive. HDR and Atmos are the reasons to buy this over the original Blu-Ray. Would highly recommend this to any crime buff.

Purchased this for my grandparents which allows them to use their cable box, Blu-Ray player, VHS player (dont know why they still have this), and their AV receiver. Very easy to program, but would like this to have a few more devices to be able to control.

What does a smart sensor do?
The Smart Senor acts as additional temperature sensors around your house to allow for full house control of the temperature. I have placed one of these upstairs, and one downstairs in our house. There was a 10-12 degree difference before I installed my Ecobee with the additional Smart Sensors. Now, there is 3-4 degree difference in our house between all floors. I also have been using the Smart Sensors as motion sensors in SmartThings to trigger automations.

They will not work. You will need the 8500s rear speakers.
