Great movie, love the Steelbook

Very happy I purchased the Steelbook. Very nice to have all of the Marvel movies in this format. The 4k transfer is nice, but I believe the HDR is more important. The Atmos mix is unremarkable, but has a few sceens where this is nice.

Great sound bar, Atmos effect is unremarkable

I purchased this sound bar as it was on sale. Wanted to get Atmos effects in our living room. The sound bar and subwoofer are shockingly good. The only area I found was lacking was the Atmos immersion. Sounds less like a 3.1.2, and more of a 3.1.1 at best. There is minimal separation of the left and right overhead channels, even with Dolby’s and DTS:X demo discs and channel call outs.
I added the optional rear speakers and found these speakers added much more immersion than the Atmos effects did. That being said, movies with demo worthy Atmos mixes like Ready Player One and Fury did have decent use of the overhead effects. Again, just with minimal left and right separation.
The subwoofer can dig deep in some scenes, but does tend to bottom out and the port I found had a ridiculous amount of noise which was detrimental to the overall sound. This was really only noticeable in the lowest of the frequency range in big blockbuster action movies. For 90% of the content I have watched with this set up, I am quite impressed with the size, power, fidelity, and response of this subwoofer.
The main bar itself benefits greatly from the additional center channel. I am a firm believer if you will be buying a sound bar, you at LEAST have to get a 3.1 system. Dialogue is very clear in movies, documentaries, the news, and with normal TV.
Overall I really do like this product. I wouldn’t buy it at full price, as the Vizio 5.1.4 system is nearly the same price and has considerably better Atmos effects. I do believe the Q70 r has better bass, and fidelity (presumably due to the collaboration of Harmon Kardon). Being said, there are much worse ways to spend your money, and I don’t think you would be disappointed.

What does a smart sensor do?
The Smart Senor acts as additional temperature sensors around your house to allow for full house control of the temperature. I have placed one of these upstairs, and one downstairs in our house. There was a 10-12 degree difference before I installed my Ecobee with the additional Smart Sensors. Now, there is 3-4 degree difference in our house between all floors. I also have been using the Smart Sensors as motion sensors in SmartThings to trigger automations.

Is each of the outlets independent of the other or do they both react to the same command?
They are both individually controllable. I have a lamp on one side and a fan on the other side and I can control them together or separately on the app or with Alexa.

I already have the Samsung 9000 Surround Speakers from a Sound+ Soundbar, They seem to be larger and nicer than the 8000 series, will they work with this soundbar, or do I have to buy the smaller surround speakers?
They will not work. You will need the 8500s rear speakers.
