All HDMI cables are not equal.

I had tried using a less expensive HDMI cable for Apple TV 4K and experienced momentary black screen on my 65" 4K Sony TV when switching between menu apps as well as picture and audio delays and dropouts when selecting a film, documentary, etc. Those problems disappeared when I changed to a Rocketfish 4K HDMI cable. To those that say cheaper cables work as good as a more expensive one haven't subjected them to the demands of Apple TV 4K. The Rockfish UltraHD HDMI cable could handle 4K 60 FPS material beautifully.

As one of maybe a handful of people that has never seen Disney's 1994 "The Lion King" I am completely enchanted with this stupendous 4K visual presentation of the Shakespearean-like tale. This animated adventure film is not like anything seen before. Completely shot within a virtual "studio" consisting of 100 square miles of African savanna, mountains, gorges, valleys, waterfalls, desert, et al, using an array of standard camera equipment (Steadicam, dolly, hand-held, tripod, etc., but with a sensor rather than a camera head) and hand controllers, the result is truly stunning. The 4K disc has Dolby Atmos sound while the 2K blu-ray has DTS 7.1 Master HD. Both are perfectly mixed to enhance the viewing pleasure. The extras on the blu-ray consist of "making of" videos which I found most interesting and several music videos with storyboard/film comparisons. Even if animation is not your cup of tea, you still need to see this movie. I can say with nearly 100% certainty that it will not be a one-time viewing if you are a fan of filmmaking. And the steelbook case makes for excellent packaging.

Review of 4K Ultra HD Steelbook

Having not seen this movie in a theatre and being an ardent fan of Steven Spielberg, I was anxious for the blu-ray release of his latest film. I was not disappointed in the slightest. It is a seamless and well proportioned blend of live action and CG and the sound editing is flawless. The sound effects and Silvestri soundtrack were restrained as to not overpower the movie’s visuals and story telling, but richly layered to enhance the watching experience.
The steelbook version contains both 4K Ultra HD and blu-ray discs (stacked - I prefer that the discs are located on either side of the case - see photo). It also included digital copy (more on that later). I watched the 4K version and the visual quality is superb with English Dolby Atmos and English DTS HD Master along with a plethora of additional languages and descriptive audio for the hearing impaired. As is typical, special features (of which there are approx. 97 min.) are located on the blu-ray disk. There are no commentary tracks.
Upon registering the disc through Vudu, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the digital copy included the featurettes contained on the blu-ray disc. Vudu included (7) featurettes. In addition to the featurettes, Movies Anywhere and iTunes also included “Trivia” (20 still panels of misc. information) and a photo gallery. Amazon Prime does not include any extras.
Lastly, putting aside the high caliber of filmmaking and a captivating storyline (tip-of-the-hat to “Willy Wonka”) the numerous references to 1980’s arcade/video games, television, films and social cultural influences contained in the film will make this a movie that I will watch again and again. And without giving much away with a spoiler, the extended nod to Kubrick was simply put… extraordinary in it’s execution.

Correct, iTunes nor Vudu nor Amazon provide streaming 4K versions. However, 4K versions of all the films are available through Movies Anywhere and the coding works for all four sites.

Although I provided the sales receipt with my initial enquiry which required filling out a simple online form, I did have to provide an image of the open steelbook with disc as well as an image of the complete cover and Support Request Number which Warner Brothers customer service provided. The process was completed quite quickly. Thanks again, amoebaswatter

I pre-ordered this by mail. Received it in a timely fashion product arrived in great shape with no damage. But when I opened it no insert or booklet with the digital code. So I returned it to my local BESTBUY located in Aberdeen, NC. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was exchanged for a replacement. So I opened the new replacement on the spot in front of the staff...NO DIGITAL CODE. Yes, we have a problem here. The store had one more in stock. The manager open the third Blu-ray...ONCE AGAIN NO DIGITAL CODE! Disappointed to say the least. I am willing to bet there are more Nightmare On Elm Street (SteelBook) out there with no digital codes inside.
I don't blame BESTBUY for the lack of a digital code that falls on the distributor of this particular product. However, BestBuy does need to address this some how. Just not getting what you paid for here. Maybe all who purchase this Blu-ray receive the code via email or something.
I included a picture in my review so there would be no misunderstanding as to which Blu-ray I am talking about.

I want to switch to induction but I use my large diameter pan the most and the entire bottom must heat. Does the largest circle on the induction model actually heat all across the bottom of a large pan (10" diameter bottom)?

My oven works, but the cook top does not heat up. Am I doing something incorrectly?
Pots and pans must have a magnetic property for the cooktop to function. Simple hold a magnet up to the bottom of the pot/pan to check the utensil's usability. Cast iron or stainless steel will work. Mind you, most pots have an aluminum layer for even heat distribution but will possibly work.

Does this stove come with a trim kit or do I purchase that separately?
Stainless steel trim pieces are not included with the range. We ordered the trim kit from Best Buy on April 18, 2023 and which was on backorder even directly through Samsung. We had an estimate of May 14 and are still waiting.
