One of the best Zorro incarnations

Antonio Bandares was born to play this role and does it with such joy that he makes this movie so much fun to watch. This is a throwback to the old swashbuckling films of old, and it was a movie that finally had good sword play. There’s great chemistry with the cast and next to Tyrone Powers’ Mark of Zorro it’s the best Zorro in my opinion. Lots to enjoy here. The picture is a big upgrade from my old DVD and added extras on a 4K was a great and rare touch.

Great new start for the Man of Steel

This movie really found the heart of the Superman character. No dark grittiness, but a real innocent good hearted Kansas boy who wants to help. The supporting cast was great with Martian Manhunter, Lois and Lobo dine perfectly. Lex Luthor was a step up too from the 52 version DC had been throwing out there. Great story, lots of action and a great start for what hopes to be the new direction for DC animated movies. Focusing on Supes rather than Bats would be a fresh idea.

This was a great movie, and one of the best in the DCEU. That, for some, might not be high praise, but I think the DCEU is underrated-different from the MCU for sure, but that's not a bad thing. This movie blends humor, action and some horror into a great origin story that doesn't get bogged down in the usual problems of an origin movie; maybe because his learning about himself is so much fun. The extras on this blu ray are nice including the alternate ending which would have been neat to leave in, then have it go to the lunchroom scene. Anyhow, terrific movie.

I watched it with him, and while the violence negates it for the young, this was a pretty cool movie for the comic fans out there. It was neat to see the two worlds come together, and it made for an enjoyable watch.

Speilberg reaches back to his past and tries to recapture the fun of his old movies, but unless you're a big fan of video games and nostalgia, it's simply ok. It was fun to watch in the theater, but watching it again at home, I got a little bored and depressed seeing that the technology obsessed culture we live in is headed this way. I guess that makes it a pretty decent statement on the world. The extras are fine and the film looks good. Entertaining, but this isn't Raiders or E.T. level enjoyment, but really what is?

The movie, while flawed (sorry MCU fans), is awesome. Lots of action, great character moments, fan service (not a bad thing critics-get a life) and a great end to the first 10 years of Marvel movies. Ties together every other movie and character. The extras here are ok, I would have thought there'd be more given the circumstances, but it looks great in 4K and is a great movie.

For those looking for fun in the DCEU, here it is. This movie put you right into another world, and really brings to life an overlooked DC hero that forever has been wrongly pigeonholed into the old cartoon riding a giant seahorse can't do things out of the water guy. This Aquaman proves he's awesome and a great addition to the superhero movie world. The movie looks great on 4K and there's a lot of fun extras too.

I love baseball, and this is the best baseball movie ever made. The filmmakers and everyone involved love the game, and you can tell as they bring to life a good baseball book, and make a great movie. The blu ray has some fun extras on it, and the 4K picture is fantastic. Makes me feel like I'm in Iowa. If you don't have this, get it.

Can you get Bally Sports, specifically Padres baseball games, with Roku without cable TV?
Roku is just a way to put apps and streaming services on a TV. You need to actually have a streaming service app that has those channels in order to watch the games. Look up who carries that and those are your choices. I did that to see Astros games-only DirectTv, DirectTV Stream, FuboTV and something else I can't remember what had them so those were my choices.
