I'm not a big fan of this proprietary expansion, but I understand why it's used. Performance seems at the same speed as the internal drive. It's such a great joy to finally be able to keep higher performance games installed instead of having to rotate because of file sizes. It's baffling that given how large modern games are that the Series X would only ship with a 1GB internal drive.
I wish there was a more universal and consumer friendly expansion available, but this works and it's great.

Great but tinny

I love the design and features of this boombox, but for any audiophiles, you might want to skip. Even after changing all the possible EQ presets, the majority of the sounds are tinny with very little bass. I'm not big on bass, but when volume is raised it just sounds only a step above a alarm clock radio.
Because of the remote, functions and ease of use I'm going to recommend this. If you're just wanting to listen to music, then go right ahead cause it suffices, but if you're wanting a well rounded professional sound look elsewhere.

Overall I'm quite satisfied with the build and utility of of the Apple Watch, however, I wish the marketing was more explicit with requirements for operating them. I purchased two separate watches and probably wouldn't have had I known you'd need an iPhone at hand to really get the full use out of them.
I understand the necessity for setting up the watch initially, but I think it's pretty restrictive and probably boils down to trying to keep the masses in the Apple brand. Apple can definitely do better, but that's probably not happening any time soon.
I have no other experiences with previous versions so I can't comment on any changes. I just find it's useful for health tracking and cross-platform integration of apps.

Works but my expectations were a little high

I longer have any tvs in my room with RCA jacks, as all I have are gaming monitors, so I had to figure out how I could hook up my Nintendo Wii to my Benq monitor. Searched around and this seemed like a reasonable option. It's low cost and very simple to use and set up.
The only real downside is the black borders for a small viewing screen. It's a bit distracting at first, but the old-school games make me forget about it after a short while. Would be nice if there was a way to have the Wii display games that didn't look so pixelated, though I assume it will always be a problem given the high resolution of the monitor.

Fond memories returning

These two games, particularly Baldur's Gate I got me through some real rough times when my dad died of cancer. It's one of my favorite RPGs, whether it's the mythology, gameplay, storytelling, or choices you make, it pulls you into another world.
Black Isle Studios made a fair amount of awesome RPGs and BG is where it started for me. I first played it right around when I graduated, and I was pulled back into the universe when my dad passed. The enhanced graphics are okay, some games have done much more to make their games look more modern, but I don't care. I just love that I can kick back and turn the console and play this game for years to come.

Way to relive some of my youth

Although I wasn't familiar with Torment, I'd played my fair share of Ice Wind Dale I and II in my early twenties. I'd always liked the games similar to Baldur's Gate (another series I played to death). Although some of the game mechanics seem slow or outdated, the bulk of the game is great. In particular, the role-playing elements. I'm generally a fan of all RPGs, but so many these days are only surface level on the role-playing aspect. Far too often your choices have either little or no consequences, so I've always been a big fan of the Black Ilse games.
Although the graphics are enhanced, most of it is just better shadows, less pixelation and cooler looking magic effects. Isometric games aren't really my favorite, especially when the screen uses the fog-of-war effect. I'd like to see where I'm going in most games, be it open-world, or mostly open-world, but it's still fun.
I'll play this for years since I don't have a gaming computer anymore.

4K Passthrough finally

I haven't really used this device yet, so I'll follow up later if there's an issue. I already owned the Elgato HD60 S, but was getting bugged out by having to use separate cables and device to allow 4K pass through for me to be able to play in 4K while capturing. This allows the 4K pass through in one device now.
Elgato's program for stream seems okay, but you don't have to use it if you don't want to, in fact, you'll be able to customize more with other options (some that are free, too).
Best bang for your buck.

Purchased as a backup for a compilation of other backups. It's a decent price for 5TB, at least it was on sale anyway. Nothing I can really say about speeds as I'm not really using it on the regular, just for massive backups which are already going to take a long time to process (an overnight job for hundreds of thousands of files).
This is probably my 4th WD My Passport, and so far all have functioned great and lasted a while. They feel pretty sturdy and don't slide around on the desk. I'll probably pick up 1 or 2 more for secondary backups.

Still perfect despite original need

I originally purchased this to accompany my new 2018 Mac mini, but after having disastrous issues with it (not related to the monitor), I instead opted to use the monitor with my 2013 Mac Pro. It comes in handy that this monitor has quite a few options for available ports. I managed to use both Mini DisplayPort as well as HDMI at the same time to do some troubleshooting with my other computer.
I don't know much about calibration for monitors, but I'm quite satisfied with the default settings on this. It's perfect for my needs as my previous layout was two 27" monitors side by side that were taking up just too much space for audio production (blocking my speakers). This allows me the larger screen to run my DAW and the virtual mixer without having to minimize anything.
I will say though, it was a little tricky for me to figure out exactly how to set the resolution to my preferences. I actually had to use the Mini DisplayPort so I could bring the resolution down just a bit, because one of my eyes is blurry, and the very high resolution was originally just too small.
It's a little costly, but so far I've not been disappointed at all in this purchase. Although they aren't great, I was actually surprised on how decent the default speakers were. I was expecting them to be real bad, but they feel on par with an iMac but with a tad more Mid-range frequency boost.

I can't seem to find a list of approved 3rd party modems, and can only find forums indicating that ATT will only lease to you and won't activate 3rd party modems. However, you should call them to find out for sure if that's the case. If 3rd party modems are allowed you should ask them to provide a list of any that are compatible with their activation.
