Let's get this out of the way. It's not Jim Carrey, it's not Boris Karloff, but it really is such a feel-good movie, that keeps an open mind entertained.
Constantly going back and comparing it to the previous films ended up materializing this movie's undeserved amount of negative ratings. Sure, The Grinch is more softer than previous incarnations, but it didn't get to the point where it destroyed the source material's point. He's still an isolated loner who loathes the holidays, and this version did enough to stand on it's own. Benedict Cumberbatch sure did surprise me with his vocal work for The Grinch, and the animation; impressive. I absolutely love the colors, the designs, the setting, all of it.
This movie really doesn't deserve the hate it gets. It's different, yes. It's a remake, yes. Was it necessary? Maybe not. Is it the worst film? Not at all. It's become one of Illumination's better films, even though the ratings show a complete 50:50 of people liking/disliking it.
It was a film when after watching it, made me feel warm and I absolutely adored it.

It's a wonderful option if you didn't play this game before. Great platformer, lots of secrets, different environments, great for multiplayer because it's really fun.

Happy Halloween MICHAEL! Jamie Lee Curtis returns to Halloween when Michael had spent 40 Years in captivity, waiting for her. Only problem for him is that she had been preparing to. Wiping the slate clean was appropriate. I would have loved a H20 type ending just without the "someone else under the mask" ending. Other than that, good movie. Michael just needs to die. I've loved the series for as long as I could, but it needs to end at some point. Very soon. No more reboots. Just end it.
