There’s nothing wrong with this new Cinderella it’s a very solid remake. The performances are decent, the costumes are solid, and the cinematography and Special effects are well done. Other than that unfortunately this version of Cinderella doesn’t offer much new in terms of story. It’s predictable and exactly what you would expect. I wish there was more fairy godmother in this movie and I don’t feel Kate Blanchett step mother was mean enough. It’s a decent remake fun for the family and exactly what you would expect.

I loved it so much!! A great retelling of Sleeping Beauty which shows that villains have had a past, too. What it may occasionally lack in creativity it makes up for in an emotional punch, in reconciliation and triumph. The growth of the maternal but severe love Maleficent has for the princess adds a beautiful dazzle to the story.

This movie has to be kept in context when going to view it. If you are looking to just waste 2 hours in a chilled movie theater this weekend and have never played, seen, or consumed any pokemon themed media, this movie might be a mistake. That being said if you are a fan of the material, or at least familiar with it, this is a joy. Funny and thrilling, with real gumshoe, detective devices added in to boot, this was such a fun movie to watch. There are some wholes, and some editing issues that can be glossed over, as well as some areas that lack polish other areas have, as well as some disappointing leave outs, but all and all a fun ride. See it with a crowd.
