Remote Work Lifesaver

Like most office workers, I’ve been working remotely since March. I think I lasted about 2 weeks before I felt the necessity for a larger monitor.
This has been a godsend for spreadsheets and pulling windows up side by side. It’s more or less replaced my efficiency with dual monitors.
I don’t use it for anything more than mundane office work, so I can’t speak to the visual quality. Boring training videos look great on it, though.

Great size and feel

I bought this so I could dock my Surface Pro. As an accountant, I desperately needed the 10 digit keypad on a keyboard. It’s a great little keyboard that feels nice and has a great battery life.
What holds it back for me is how the F keys function, defaulting to secondary commands. Occasionally, when swapping between the Shift keys on either side, fast keystrokes will cancel each other out and I’ll end up with lower case letters.
It’s a bit of a learning curve how to avoid these issues but overall, I’m delighted for the price.

Huge Upgrade Over My Previous Laptop

Surface Pro 7 is just a huge upgrade over my previous laptop, a Lenovo Yoga, with similar specs.
I love the form-factor, the keyboard, and the pen compatibility. The charger is great and reminds me a lot of the early Macbook Pro chargers. That has saved my tail several times walking through a tight space and tripping over the cord; the Surface isn't going anywhere when that happens.
Startup and signing in are lightning quick with Windows Hello - a welcome upgrade over my old laptop.
The only thing I don't love is that the Surface X released alongside this and has an edge-to-edge bezel, making the margins on this look a little outdated.

Explore a fantastical adventure world to defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions using real-life exercises. Traverse grass-swept plains by jogging in place, attack enemies with overhead shoulder presses, and refill your health meter by striking some yoga poses. Two new accessories, Ring-Con and Leg Strap, measure your real-world actions and help turn them into in-game movements. With additional mini games, Ring Fit Adventure is a great escape for players of all skill levels and schedules. In the Adventure mode, defeat enemies with attacks based on real-world exercises. As you work through each level (and possibly work up a sweat), you'll earn experience points. Between fights, you may encounter some unusual methods of transportation, such as squat-powered launch pads and more. Want to compete with others? Pass around the Ring-Con accessory, and select from a few mini games: break boxes with gusts of air, craft pottery using squats and more.

More Than I Bargained For

I picked up Ring Fit Adventure to pull me out of my seasonal depression and sort of revitalize my desire to work out during the winter months. I've previously used Wii Fit and Your Shape Fitness Evolved to get myself back into a groove. Those worked well, but got sort of mundane after a month. This is still showing me new features after a month of play.
This game is great value and, for anyone even slightly familiar with RPGs, draws from the turn-based and character-building formula to create a pretty entertaining adventure.
Ring Fit is not going to replace the gym anytime soon, but it is a great supplement to other exercise and will work up a good sweat and you'll definitely feel the burn from the various ring exercises.

This isn't your typical remaster. Capcom basically built this from the ground-up, making it more of a remake than a remaster. It takes a good formula and turns RE2 into a potential game of the year. I won't be surprised if it wins at The Game Awards this week.

This is easily the best-looking mouse I've owned. The pros for me are the form-factor, the ease of turning it on and off (on when it's arced; off when it's flat), and the size for packing it with my laptop.
It takes some getting used to with regards to cursor tracking and scrolling with the "touchpad", but I think I've found the right speeds for myself.
The Surface Arc mouse is a bit on the pricier side but with how well-built it feels, I'm sure it will last a long time.

Captain Marvel might be a little generic compared to some of the other characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but we sorely needed the strong and determined female character that she brings to the fight.
I rank this film right in the middle of the pack of MCU films in that it is entertaining enough for multiple rewatches, brings in some interesting new folds and great characters, and will make you fist pump as Carol Danvers perseveres.

This was #1 on my wishlist when I purchased my new house. I compared it to Ring and Simplisafe and this eventually won out.
I like the form factor and the ease of use with the keyfobs. It's a Nest product so it assimilates with everything Google/Nest and is very easy to use through the app.
One of its best features is reminding you to set the alarm when it detects that none of its users are home and then pinging you with a prompt to disarm when you arrive back home.
