Great 3-pack film trilogy. Solid acting and CG, as well as engrossing plot. Not totally revolutionary all things considered, but just a solid sci-fi trilogy that does a lot of things right. 8/10
Track runs and workouts with this Fitbit Versa fitness tracker. It includes a heart rate monitor for accurate health data, and you can pair it with your mobile device for on-wrist notifications and app control. This Fitbit Versa fitness tracker runs four or more days between charges and has a stylish rose gold and peach finish.

Device was costly yet would not stay connected to bluetooth consistently across multiples devices. Fitness tracking was also wildly inaccurate. Had to be returned which we don't do often. A glorified watch with a rechargeable battery. Don't buy this.
This set contains a double feature from director Wes Anderson: Isle of Dogs and Fantastic Mr. Fox. In Isle of Dogs, a young boy goes on a quest in dystopian Japan to find his banished dog; in Fantastic Mr. Fox, a fox works to outwit three frustrated farmers and steal their food.

Two animated classics from Wes Anderson. Full of quirky characters, hilarity, and interesting and twisty plots, this is an awesome package. Highly recommended for fans of other Wes Anderson movies.

Fun gameplay overall, and the StarFox addition is really neat. Game is fun but nothing grounbreaking. The ship toys add a cool feature. Overall, I'd give this game a 7.5/10.

All around astounding cast, script, acting, atmosphere. Hard to beat this though it is quite sad and very depressing at times. Casey Affleck shines as a father who has witnessed severe tragedy and is faced with several complications in this amazing drama. 10/10.
GLADIATOR - Blu-ray - Ridley Scott (BLADE RUNNER, ALIEN) transports Hollywood to second-century Rome in this rousing historical epic that proudly harkens back to such films as BEN-HUR and SPARTACUS. Russell Crowe plays Maximus, a Roman general who leads the troops in conquering Germania for the empire. When an aging Marcus Aurelius (Richard Harris) tells Maximus that he'd like him to rule Rome once he's gone, a classic confrontation ensues between the brave and charming soldier-who wants to return home to his wife, son, and farm-and the jealous and conniving Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix), the emperor's only son, who is thirsty for power. Bought as a slave by the profiteering Proximo (Oliver Reed, in his last role), Maximus must kill or be killed in the ring, battling to save not only himself but the future of the very empire that he loves and honors. The film features a terrific battle sequence (that recalls the beginning of SAVING PRIVATE RYAN), huge crowd scenes of thousands of people, and even a little romance, albeit mostly taboo. The impeccably choreographed gladiator scenes are violent yet thrilling, flashing by like lightning. GLADIATOR is a glorious spectacle filled with heart and soul. Color/154 min/R/widescreen.

Classic modern epic film. Think Ben-Hur, Lawrence of Arabia, Spartacus, etc. Russell Crowe's finest acting performance. Joaquin Phoenix is a powerhouse playing a truly despicable and cruel character. One of Ridley Scott's best films by far. 10/10.

Classic dreadful horror. Not jump scares, but truly horrific and creepy atmosphere and wonderful acting and writing. You'll be thinking about this one long after the credits roll. A modern classic horror. 10/10.

Great Godzilla collection. Cheesy, campy goodness. Much better than the newer, American Godzilla films. Destroyah may be the best Godzilla movie ever made. Megaguirus is pretty good as well. Highly recommended to Kaiju/monster movie fans.

Great Godzilla collection. Cheesy, campy goodness. Much better than the newer, American Godzilla films. Mechagodzilla is one of the best Godzilla enemies (heroes?). Highly recommended to Kaiju/monster movie fans.
Zach Snyder shot and stylized this piece quite well. However, it drags in certain places...and in other places, too. This has been noted before, but Mr. Snyder thrives on "the moment" in his films. Going for the next moment to the next moment...and slowing down the film's speed to make certain you indeed see each and every moment.
Also, right from the get-go you should notice something missing in the opening credits: Frank Miller. He, in fact, sued to have his name removed from this film as he was so disgusted from it vs. his graphic novel. While watching the movie, it does make you want to read his novel (in hopes that it's substantially better). For example, does the graphic novel contain many Hollywoodized vague cliched fallacies trying to be philosophical truths without any debate and argument?
The movie does have a fairly nice soundtrack. Several Bob Dylan songs Woop! and a couple Leonard Cohen's.
Will I watch this movie again? Not sure, really.

You DO KNOW that Alan Moore wrote the Watchmen graphic novel, not Frank Miller, right?!
