This is a movie that I have come to like more and more over the years. The standout performances, and the witty dialogue carry this movie through. It seems you crave these things a lot more when comparing it to the current crop of movies, and suddenly find it in the older films."Batman Returns" feels this way. Character over Spectacle.
The 4K blu ray is a marked improvement over the 1080. It's literally eye candy. Everything just pops. The sound also has an increased rumble and thump to it. This is a must have.

I don't know, I guess it was okay. It wasn't quite the Shyamalan experience I was expecting. This felt more like a horror movie if anything else. One thing that stood out though, is James McAvoy's performance. It was top-notch!. It was an academy award performance. Very memorable and scary. This blu ray purchase was made so later on I might understand the movie "Glass" better which I have'nt seen yet.

An excellent outing for director Michael Bay. I Didn't know he had it in him to make a thought provoking film. A gritty no-nonsense film, and you learn little bit of history here too. A tribute to those who were there and the sacrifices they made.

The first time I saw this movie I wasn't quite sure what was going on. Upon repeat viewing, as you get into the story you start to appreciate the plot and the expertise that went into designing this grandiose story. Watching it again, the experience keeps getting better.
The 4K transfer is something to reckoned with. It is without doubt one of the best 4K transfers I have ever seen. Literally eye candy. The audio portion will knock your socks off. This 4K blu ray sets the example for how a 4K transfer should look.

What can I say about this timeless classic that hasn't already been said. Mesmerizing, thought provoking, a visual feast. It still remains to me one the most photorealistic representations of space that I have seen. I often wonder what it must have been like for the audience seeing this movie for the first time back in 1968 when science fiction films didn't even come close to looking like this. A movie that was so far ahead of it's time that it seriously affected the consciousness of so many individuals. So powerful, so convincing.

I remember watching and hearing about this on the news back then, but it wasn't until I saw the the movie that I realized what a harrowing experience these soldiers went through that day.

What training goes with this? Will your Apple Technician help set up this computer?
When I purchased my original MacBook Pro 11 years ago I had absolutely no experience with computers. The Apple technicians at the Apple store that I purchased my computer from gave me a series tutorials on the basics of keystrokes and functions. Depending on what you want to do with your new computer. The tutorials can be very in-depth or just a familiarization or both. When I bought my new current computer at Best Buy I asked a few questions just to get started but for the most part, I just carried over what I already new from my original computer. However. It is very likely that I will be asking or signing up for more tutorials to get a better understanding of this very new and upgraded computer.
