Good movie but not as great as some say.

I really have to agree with some other reviewers in stating that this is a good movie, but not deserving of the level of acclaim it has received. I thought the first part of the movie was excellent, with significant character and thematic development. The latter part of the movie, however, especially the climactic one-on-one battle, is just a CGI-fest that's not even particularly well done. I'm a huge Marvel fan and recognize that some elements of these stories require CGI but I wish realism were a higher priority. Also, when it comes to hand-to-hand combat scenes, I much prefer skilled stunt work to computer programming.
That being said, this was/is an important movie in cultural terms, even if I feel that much of the good press was more influenced by politics than the merits of the movie itself.

More convenient than buying at Red Robin!

Not the best of the Scooby movies, but still good.

Although I was initially skeptical of these newer Scooby-Doo movies, I've been pleasantly surprised by some of them. Big Top Scooby-Doo was not among my favorites but it was plenty enjoyable and I'm glad I bought it.
Without giving anything away, there are a few moments involving menacing creatures that might frighten very young/sensitive children but I'd say that it's typical Scooby fare so if your kids are accustomed to the formula, there shouldn't be any issues.
