This is not a stellar sound bar. But it gets the job done. I have an LG TV and hooked this up via Optical. I have sound coming from the TV as well as this (to create amore dynamic effect).
If you are looking to increase speech volume over background sounds/music/explosions/etc, then skip this one as it does not have enough channels to isolate vocals.

Something about a mouse. I have the Magic Trackpad as well, and I strictly use the mouse now. Built in Gesture capability makes this a solid accessory. Plus it uses my mac's built in bluetooth, so no dongle is necessary for pairing.
