4 Elvis Movies!

In 3rd grade I learned from my best friend that Elvis movies came on during the day while we were in school. She pretended to be sick, called her mom & went home to watch the show...sooo I started doing this also. I remember a few of these from then. I've seen these shows since then but, its been years. Tickle me, I dont remember ever seeing this one. It's a cute show. I enjoyed it. Live a Little, Love Little, I liked it back then, except for 1 issue! I know several people having to live like this so, I have better appreciation of it today. The issue, the crazy lady and her dog on the beach! I still dont like her. Lol Girl Happy, I still like that one. I've seen this one many times on television. Kissin Cousins. Wouldnt that be Alabama? GEAUX TIGERS! Lol. It has its good and bad in it. Overall worth seeing again
P.S. I recently told my 3rd grade teacher and her sister who was a chemistry high school teacher about skipping out to watch Elvis movies. They both laughed. Many in my town who know me know I'm a HUGE Elvis fan. Several have given me Elvis things over the years. Even if I had 1 already, I was as excited as if I had none. Im 60 years old now and with the help of Best Buy and a few other places, I have now collected all his 33 movies. I will continue to collect other videos about Elvis and hope to see others I don't have on their app. This is my Merry Christmas gift to me! Next year, finish collecting his music albums so, please put them on your site!

The king of rock & roll, Elvis Presley, sings his heart out to Mary Tyler Moore in the romantic comedy Change of Habit. Universal's work on this 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer is very nice with solid black levels and rich, deep colors showing up vibrantly. Although there are a few cases of edge enhancement in the image, overall, this is a great picture which should please fans. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono in English and isn't anything to croon home about. While there's a lack of any directional effects in mix, overall the music, dialogue, and effects are free and clear of any distortion or hiss. Also included on this disc are English, French, and Spanish subtitles. The extra features on this DVD aren't going to thrill anyone looking for a good time -- the small amount of supplements include a trailer for the film, some recommendations by Universal for other DVDs, some production notes, and cast and filmmaker bios.

Even as a young child, this Elvis movie has been MY MOST FAVORITE of all his movies. Production on this movie was soooo much better than the silly ones! It was great to see him playing football and facing challenges of NORMAL life. A life he obviously never had but tried to create behind a gate and late night get aways. The plot is very good. Every time I watch this movie I think... I wonder if I would have pretended to be sick to have to go to the Dr if he was my Dr! Mom would have gladly brought me! Lol The ending is a good one. Anyone having to make a VERY DIFFICULT life changing decision could relate! The most touching part of this movie is the little girl in his office!

5 stars because its Elvis. The comedy for back then was very silly. You have to understand comedies for the time. This one fits right along with Jerry Lewis silly. The plot was different from several of his other movies. I'm glad I purchased it. As an Elvis fan, I would buy it again. Unfortunately, he's no longer here to make new movies so, I get what I can to keep his memory alive

3 stars ONLY because its Elvis. I havent seen this show in over 40 years. It's likely my least favorite of his movies. I still have a few to watch... Obviously meant to be a comedy but, the stuff we found funny in the 60s abd 70s seems too silly now and not in a funny way! I can't blame Elvis for being upset about having to make these kind of movies. The writers and producers cannot be some of the best to come out of Hollywood! If Elvis wouldn't be in this movie, I would give it negative stars. I wouldn't have watched the whole movie! Seems a pre high schooler could make a better movie!

Steve Allen makes his dramatic film debut in The Benny Goodman Story. Obviously made to cash in on the success of The Glenn Miller Story (1953), this slow-moving biopic isn't quite in the same league. Outside of Goodman's conflicts with his parents over his career choice, and his early frustration over not being able to play his kind of music, the film tends to be more a series of musical highlights than a biography. Something could have been made of Goodman's tireless efforts to racially integrate the Big Band scene of the 1930s and 1940s, but Universal chose to sidestep this. As for Steve Allen, his dour, low-key performance does little to enliven the proceedings; Allen is at his best when miming the prerecorded clarinet licks of the real Benny Goodman. Despite its faults, The Benny Goodman Story remains a treat for music fans, with guest appearances by Gene Krupa, Lionel Hampton, Teddy Wilson, Harry James, Martha Tilton, Ziggy Elman, and Sammy Davis Sr. (as Fletcher Henderson).

First, one must realize that this movie was made many years ago. With that consideration, they did a good job on giving us real life details of musician Benny Goodman. Life was simpler back then but, not without the same issues we see today. Having a father who was a musician in his younger years and a husband who still is a musician, it was an easy story too relate to. Wish it was the same with life like it was back then. Its a good "based on a true story" movie.

He talks about his theories as a director, his affection for the Western genre (a type of movie that, with this film, he proves he has absorbed), and many tales about the film's production. His commentary is as earnest and heartfelt as the film itself. A second DVD is full of information on the making of the film, allowing the viewer access to almost every aspect of the process. This is a strong disc from Disney/Buena Vista that will be of particular interest to any genre enthusiast.

Another great Kevin Costner movie to add to my collection! He played a grest role! Robert Duvall is absolutely amazing as always. I will definitely watch this movie again before a year has past! Growing up in a family that raised cattle for many generations past to present, I remembered making a couple cattle drives as a kid when our uncles pushed their and my mom's cattle from pastures several miles away to their home pasture to vaccinate them. There was at least 6 families of cattle. As an adult, i also raised cattle but be moved them by trailer from pasture to pasture. That wasn't as .uch fun. I bet it would have been so much fun pushing cattle for such a long distance and sleeping under the stars(except in freezing weather) like in this movie. I was born way too soon! If you like cowboy movies, this is one to see...and buy!!

I purchased this one to replace a "used" one that stopped 1 hr into the movie. My husband has played several musical instruments since a young child, was in high school band, a music major and a musician to this date. I loved playing classical music in high school band and still enjoy listening to it today. Mozart's compositions are some of my favorites. This movie showed me the life of Mozart. Even my husband learned a few things. Anyone interested in Mozart should see this one! Research says much of the story(important details) in this movie are true. This is one I will watch again throughout my life!

This is my first case that wasn't front and back protection. DISLIKE: This is also my first phone that has had a protection screen. The first cracked the first day I got it. I had it on for months before I was able to change it. My second one needs changing because its broken but, I haven'thad time to get it changed. Thankfully the glass isnt broken but the crack is annoying. This case is NOT as waterproof as all my other totally enclosed Otter Box cases, not even close. Ive had someone's cold drink knocked over and a very little got on my screen. I wiped it immediately then noticed that it was wet inside of the case. The sides are tight but not waterproof tight. Luckily it caused no damage.
LIKE: This case makes the phone less bulky and gives very good protection. Along with the protective sleeve over the glass, my phone has very good protection.
I've had 5 fully enclosed Otter Boxes on my previous phones and except for their bulkiness, I had 100% confidence in them. I still check my phone any time this one is dropped. Over 1 year now and so far its doing the job.
Note: I purchased 3 of these for 3 different phones. 2 of them in July of 2020 and 1 in 2021 for my son.
