Not so great escape

So I bought this because of it being held in such high regard. I'd never seen the movie before and had high hopes, but man I really hated the end and in retrospect the whole movie. Presentation is magnificent. Picture quality, sound was all really good for an older movie but man, it doesn't play out like you except. I also found some of the score to be out of place. Like sad stuff going on with upbeat music. It was just weird. 4 stars because it was ok just not for me

5 stars because it was shipped in box instead of a plastic bag. The movie itself is the studio canal version that we already have. It is not a new 4k scan as some have said

Got a few movies from best buy recently and was so pleased that they shipped in a box. I thought "oh finally. They actually care about the products getting here undamaged". But sure enough my copy of Shang-chi arrived in plastic bag. Riddled with dents. Spine completely popped out from being crushed. Its really ashame that the company with 95% of the market treats customers this way. Guess I'll try to enjoy the hour drive to best buy to return it. Pathetic.

It a $400 55' TV...works great with games, but movies dont look all that great. My older LG had great blacks, but this one has a more grey washed look. I can rock LG's interface like a Nintendo, so I've tried every variation of settings and nothing ever looks perfect. No Dolby Vision support either.

Almost unplayable due to bugs. Game completely shut down twice in 15 minutes. Freezes. Game itself is ok. It's nice if you're in the mood for something slow paced. If they don't patch the bugs though, I'll probably return it.

Beautiful steelbook. The art is very well done. This one is a matte finish, which is great considering it has alot of black. The disc art is decent. It's just the "IT" logo in CD silver with a black background. There is art on the inside of the steelbook as well. There are 3 discs. 4K, standard Bluray, and a bonus disc. Mine arrived with no spine slash but it's still a gamble with best buy.

The gameplay in Super Lucky's Tale is ridiculously fun. Alot like mario odyssey but on a smaller scale. Looks great on a TV and in handheld mode. My only complaints are with the difficulty and esthetic. So far its definitely on the easy side. And esthetically is very kiddie. Overall it's still a very fun platformer. Probably a better fit for handheld mode.

Product review: steelbook is decent. At the very least it's not the cookie cutter overlay that most of the older marvel movies are getting like ironman trilogy, cap trilogy ect.
Movie review: meh Lots of meh. The lack of captain marvel mentions throughout the prior MCU makes her appearance feel forced. Brie Larson plays the character with a "I know this movie will be the best marvel movie" type of arrogance. She tortured by her lack of a past, but yet completely sure of herself. These contradictions radiate throughout the whole movie. There also a toxic feminism angle. An example, Nick Fury is scanned by one of the kree and says the readings out loud, "species, male, threat, low to none". But the woman right next to him dosen't get scanned at all. Like we don't need to scan her, we just need the audience to know that men are weak compared to women. As far as the infinity saga goes, its skippable. If you're already familiar with the MCU you can watch it right after "captain America: The first avenger" as it takes place next in the timeline. However, if you're not familiar with the older movies, you need to watch it In between "infinity war" and "endgame". Alot of the reference and jokes won't land if you haven't seen the 20 movies that came before it.
