Balanced sound

Firstly, headphones/headset and 'quality of sound' are all pretty subjective so always try out a gaming headset before purchasing.
If you are looking at this headset, then you probably already know that you want these. If you love that Bose sound and want to apply it to your gaming set up...then you already know that you just need to get these. Bose has a particular balanced sound that you just cant replicate and its easy to get hooked on that specific 'Bose' sound.
Now; excellent Bose sound quality aside, there are two reasons that I bought this headset. 1.) Active noise cancelling. Yes, the ANC one this headset is now a few years old. Doesnt matter, its great and Bose is one of the best in the industry when it comes to ANC. 2.) Clarity of sound. Sure there are more dynamic headphones out there (Astro A50s, Corsair RGB XT) but, those headphones that have 7.1 surround or Dolby Atmos do have a tendency to get distorted. For games like Call of Duty; I will probably use my Astros or Corsairs; when youre playing an action heavy game like that you want that dynamic surround sound. However, for more story driven games (like Elden Ring) where there is a lot of lore or dialogue, you want something with more clarity and balanced sound which is where these excel.
Unplug the mic wire and you also have an excellent pair of bluetooth headphones. It also comes with a semi-hard shell traveling case if you want to bring them on your commute or listen in the office. The versatility is just awesome!
I think the biggest downside is the price; yeah they are expensive. But if you can get them on sale then you have both a great gaming headset and a great pair of headphones. Personally these are my favorite ones to use and are now my go to for 90% of my gaming/music needs.

Solid, but not perfect

Pros: brushed aluminum, the light up Corsair emblem, good quality sounds, comfortable for long sessions, super clear mic, incredible versatility, lots of customization with the iCue Cordair software (and its easy to use), Dolby Atmos capable, can link the lighting from the headphones to mouse and keyboard
Cons: when using the 3.5mm jack (like through an xbox controller) you loose the customer EQ thay you set up in the software, the switch that changes you from wireless to wired is a tad loose so it can make some noise (at first I thought something was rattling around in the driver), I like a little more clamp for a secure fit and better better sound insulation around the ears, love these for gaming but maybe not everything else.
With the amount of versatility that went into these headphones; you can tell Corsair wanted to create a headset for all applications. While these are really great for gaming, I dont think they would be great for just everyday music use (the bass isnt quite punchy enough and the trebles arent quite bright enough). These are a mid EQ heavy set of headphones (even with a customized EQ on the software) so for games its perfect because you get clear dialogue and LOTS of detail.
These have become my go to headset for gaming and I love that I can go from wireless Switch or PC play to wired xbox play, but they wont be used for ALL applications for me.

I wouldnt call myself a steelbook collector...but I do like to buy one every now and again. This is my second favorite steelbook set I own (just after the Harry Potter Steelbook collection). The artwork on each case is beautifully colorful.
Aside from the physical presentation; the virwing experience is also great. Picture quality is excellent and the sound has been updated to sound more modern.
Really cant find a complaint. If you love the original series then this is a great addition to the collection.

Ignore the one star reviews; they are related to the fact that Dune 4k and especially the steelbook ar hard to come by (an have sold out in most cases). This is as close to perfect of a physical release that you can get. Excelle t pixture quality and my new favorite Dolby Atmos teack to use when showing off the sound system! Case artwork looks great; doesnt get much better than this!

I recently upgraded to this Nakamichi soundbard from my older LG sound bar/surround system.
Pros: Power. At 1000 watts you have plenty of power to make the audio loid but clear. Surround. The surrou d affects with the 2 subwoofers and 4 surround speakers are phenominal. Dialogue. The system overall seems to be more emphasized on the mid channel, so dialogue and voiceing is very clear. Price. Home theater systems with audio recievers and multiple speakers running to the reciever is the pinnacle. The Nakamichi surround system is as close to that experience as you can get but for much less.
Cons: Upward firing. You can mount the speakers so they fire ip and bounce off the ceiling and back to you. I however didnt notice a difference. Mounting Hardware. Kudos to Nakamich for even bothering to include mounting hardware! Most companies wouldnt so good on them there. I however didnt like the mounting hardware and chose to do stands. Looks. I prefer the more refined look of the Klipsch, Sonos or Bise systems (even my LG was more smooth and 'refined'). This is more like sci-fi with lits of edges and corners. Might be hard to make look good in a living space.
For me, the cons arent bad enough to deter me from enjoying this bar. It sounds great with movies and video games and im happy that I made the purchase. The price is really not bad when you consider ehat you are getting.

First things first...these headphones are a bit pricey; definitely the most expensive pair I own. That being said, you get what you pay for and these are great! The sound quality is fantastic for gaming. It comes with the wire for an Xbox controller but the box also contains a normal 3.5mm headphone jack so I have also used them on my PC and Switch Lite.
