Just bought a new computer, and the show selling it showed a SD slot on it, but when I got it, no SD slot. Doing some photography I needed that SD slot, as cameras use them.
Well, my computer does have USB C, which this SD card reader uses. And talk about fast. My new computer is very fast, and I expected this reader to be a bit slower, but no, you drag and drop and pow, done.
I was transferring 18 GB of files, was going to plug the computer in so the power wouldn't be interrupted. By the time I was done it was too. With an SD card! If you have USB C but no SD reader this is the reader you need.

I had completely forgotten this franchise that became a trilogy. And I had forgotten how good it was. The 4k transfers are really great, as is the Atmos redo. For 35 bucks this set is a bargain. And they ended this version of Spiderman because the last movie made a "disappointing " 900 million?

Saw this during the holidays and had to have it. Just got around to watching it. Three steel books, one for each season.
The refurbishment of this series was well done, the new effects are quite well done and don't interfere with the nostalgia of this series. The new soundtrack is dynamic, with the Enterprise flying over your head.
Menu's, layout, all first rate. A must for Trekkies. Or anyone else really.

I had this on laserdisc "back in the day", the colors and design of the movie were amazing. Great story, really something different. Of course this 4k version outshines it. Alec Baldwin looks like he's twelve years old. Haven't seen it in quite awhile so it was fresh. Worth a look.

I bought this on spur of the moment. I already had the DVD version, which I watched not too long ago. So I havent seen this one yet.
This is from Mill Creek, known for their cheap production with cardboard sleeves, etc. Thats on DVD. The bluray version of "That 70's Show was quite good. Quality through and through. And that's what this set appears to be. Also more compact, with several cases, two discs per case. A very good presentation of my favorite detective show. Looking foward to watching it again. And again. And again

Havent seen this one in quite awhile. Lot of action, great acting, and very accurate historically. Not the Kevin Costner version.
Picture was great, you forget in this age of 4k just how great Bluray is, but I would buy the 4k , I like this one that much. Might want to pass on it if you're squemish, but Val Kilmers performance had Oscar rumours and Dana Delany just lights up every scene she's in. Not the best Western but its up there.

What ever happened to musicals?

Don't know why I waited so long to see this movie, it is really something special. Not exactly Macbeth but a very entertaining story. Vertigo is my alltime as far as picture quality, and this one's very close, just a tad overstaturated, but otherwise an amazing picture. But Vertigo wins, the two years spent restoring it shows. But that is nitpicking, the technicolor on this one stands out. With 4k and HDR these old technicolor moves look better than ever. But you'll forget all of that watching this one, its a classic. I just wonder if Gene Kelly knew when he was doing "singing in the rain" ( the song) that it would become one of the most iconic scenes of a movie of all time. A hundred percent movie, not even close. As fresh as the day it came out

I must have seen this a zillion times back in the seventies, I lived in Alabama and this was our world. When they were filming Hooper my buddy worked in the hotel where Burt and Sally were staying, as much as I begged he would not let me sneak in and get a look at them passing through the lobby. Anyway this is a great movie, better times. Two words as to why it was so funny, Jacky Gleason. His comedic genius really lights up this movie. And the picture and sound of this 4k presentation is first rate. A must have

I mainly use this to save old home brew DVDS to bluray. Had these in my closet for years. Saving some to HD, but for things that I don't want to trust to the nature of cheap usb drives I burn to a more stable type of storage. Watching the occasional movie on blu on my computer is nice also.

Sure, but I would place it some distance from the table. My Rega III was not affected by it at all, its on the other side of the room {12 ft).

Can I combine this with my bose surround sound system
Bose makes great small form factor items like soundbars, radios, etc. I have the Wave radio and a blutooth speaker from them. But for large scale applications I would go
another way, just not their area, also its not a hard and fast rule but your speakers in your system need to be from the same manufacturer, something called timbre matching,
so that when sound moves from one speaker to another it won't change, like a truck moving from left to right.
