THe extra footage fitted really well with the story and brought some nice new moments to now-older content. I also bought the LOTR set and got the complete Tolkien library in print book form. Maybe I should now think about an e-book edition purchase.

The new CBS Star Trek shows go places with cussing and sex and violence that never would have happened with older shows and Lower Decks is no exception to the new rules. 10 episodes and 2 hours of extras. Check it out.

I have not finished this DVD set yet, but the episodes are awesome so far. Like with the previous animated Star Wars TV series, The Clone Wars, this new series has Dave Filoni as showrunner and is set in the time of the Resistance, the successor state to The Alliance/The Rebellion. The look of the show is more like a pastel oil painting whereas The Clone Wars deliberately looked like computer animation.
