Quick-Response Battery Back-Up!

Previous to this, I had the CyberPower 650, which left me pretty satisfied. It lasted over 7 years, even though I was told they lasted about 3-5 years. Before that, I'd had another well known brand that was good, but whenever our power went off, its back-up reaction wasn't quite fast enough to keep the DishNet receiver from rebooting! So, when I got the CP650 and discovered that it saved the receiver from rebooting, I knew which brand to go for the next time!
This time, I went for the CP850VA because it could handle more power and it also has more inputs. Another well known place had it for cheaper, but used Best Buy's price matching to get it for the same price and BB's delivery was several days faster (plus, they're better for getting tech help). There was a brief moment of power loss about a week ago, so I've already seen it kick into action (with no Dish receiver problem).
Actually, my 650 has been put to new use, but in another area with less of a load for it (the old battery is now a bit too weak for my AV setup, but still able to do much of its thing)! The 850 is actually more than I need, but possibly it will last even longer before the battery weakens enough to become a problem! Might have to wait 7 years to find that out, though. :-)

Have only used this a few times now (pretty new to cooking much), but have had success with everything so far. One item required that some meat (and onions and whatever else) be sautéd first and was able to do it in the Instant Pot, so no other pans were needed. Cool!
Also, following directions, nothing has stuck to the pot, so it's been very easy to clean so far. Bit intimidated by it all, but so far so good! If I can do it, anyone can! ... within reason, anyway.

Had quite a bit of the David Tennant years on DVD, but the price on this Blu-ray set is so good (way less than the old DVD prices) and there are quite a few extra added items, so I went for it. Due to how it was made, there's only so much better it can look than the DVD, but better it is! Plus the added animation episodes and other extras make it well worth considering, especially for fans of the Doctor (Tennant is considered one of the best)!

Quite Good...If You Like the TV Show

If you like the TV show, you'll probably like this. If not, no reason this would change your mind. It can be enjoyed without ever having seen the show, but that would certainly help. I'd say that the main differences between this and the show would be that they have to get a story done in a much shorter time and the production quality (camera moves, lighting, etc) has been knocked up a few notches. Somewhere, I saw someone complain about a gay kiss not being right for the time period, but I thought that the characters were pretty discreet about it and it wasn't overly lingering. Hope this did well enough for them to make another!

Original is a Classic! This one - not so much.

Probably more of a 3.5. Good performances, but nothing better than the original. There are a few things I like in this version [SLIGHT SPOILER ALERTS AHEAD]: Santa is given an even stronger reason to bop someone with his cane, but at the same time, it's still Santa losing his cool to the point of violence and it also turns the rival store into more of an evil entity instead of just being crafty competition. Plus, I like Santa's use of sign language instead of a foreign language.
Courtroom Logic: I think the original's "letters to Santa" reasoning works better, with the newer one basically being "you don't question the existence of this, so why question the existence of that?" ... as if that's something that could actually hold up in court. Yes, it's a movie about Santa being real, but that doesn't mean all reality and logic should be thrown out the window!
Still enjoyable, but with reservations.

Movie is great, but they really should have tried to put it on one disc. Also I don't understand why the 4K version came with the lenticolor 3D slip, and the actual 3D Blu-ray movie didn't?
Overall though I'm really happy that they released this I hope they start releasing more Blu-ray 3DS. Because that market is hot all of the big projectors have 3D and 3D TVs stop being made in 2017 are still being brought up on the second hand market. Not to mention virtual reality all throws 3D. So keep it up Disney and fox don't make us have to search the black market for this stuff.

I thought the 4K lenticular slip was a Walmart limited exclusive. Just glad that, despite the fact that it’s been several years since they stopped making 3D TVs, this came out in 3D! It looks great!

Considering how great and well reviewed the 3D was in the first Spider-Verse movie, it’s extremely sad that this got no 3D release anywhere! That 3D-bias aside, this is excellent! It sounds great! Visually, it’s a fantastic, artistic achievement! I know some people who don’t like multiverse stories, but I’d think that everyone else (and even them, if they’d give it a chance) would love this! Powerfully emotional scene with plenty of humor and Spidey/Multiverse action and craziness! These Spider-Verse movies are the very best of Spider-Man! Also, I only occasionally get steelbooks, but this one was too good to pass up (though I would’ve if it hadn’t been in beautiful 4K UHD)!

Oops! Forgot to mention one thing: This was my first time seeing it and went in not knowing it ended with “TO BE CONTINUED!” So, this suddenly stops mid-story! Apparently, the second part would have come out next March, but since voice acting wasn’t completed, strikes will delay the conclusion for an unknown amount of time! Dang!
