I wanted to run Cat6 ethernet, but it would have been a real problem in an older house. Fortunately coaxial cable was in each room.
The package comes with the two adapters, coaxial cables and splitters if needed.
They provide near ethernet speeds and couldn't be easier to install.

What a great device

What a pleasant surprise. I've been using FireTV's for years now, but their interface is kind of busy and the OS slow. I'm pretty heavy Android and Google so decided to try the new Chromecast.
It's very small, later found out it has an ethernet adapter which is on it's way. Setup of course is easy, the interface is fluid and easy to understand. We use YouTube TV so it works well with it. Also Disney+, Netflix, HBOMax and Amazon video, but no AppleTV yet (Ted Lasso!).
The remote is a great addition. It's a little light, but well laid out.
Overall for the price I couldn't be happier with it.

The downside is the cameras. The mounting options are very limited, They're plasticky and the video quality is so-so.
They're bad enough I'm considering going to another product for video.

I had 3 of the 1st Gen Eero Pros and went with a Prosumer brand to gain more information and control my network. That is going to be an expensive mistake. It wasn't reliable, blocked things indiscriminately and dropped service.
I brought out my 3 Eero units and they just work. I have since added this bundle with one more Pro and 2 beacons. I used wired backhaul for the Pros and the service is solid. The app is great with lots of features and alerts.
They have a value add with Secure and Secure+ if you want to subscribe, but you don't have to. Now that I'm back on Eero I'm sorry I ever left.
There were rumors for a while that Apple would buy them, not surprising with the look, reliability and quality of the product.

My Daughter, Son and Wife all needed new laptops. My Son wanted the Apple flavor, but my Wife and Daughter went with Surface. They felt more premium than most every other Windows product in the store. My Daughter bare metal with the sandstone, my Wife went Cobalt Blue with alcantara. The fact it had alcantara wasn't obvious and when she picked it up she decided she really liked it better.
It's thin and light. Great looking screen with a nice keyboard. The alcantara supposedly easy to clean, but I would still be careful. Being in stock and the sale price made it a no brainer.
I don't often buy the warranties, but with this I did. There is nothing you can repair yourself on this. My Surface Pro 4 had a drive go bad and I ruined it trying to repair it myself. Well, it was ruined anyway.
Overall a nice laptop.

I am looking to save things from my DirectTV box (due to having to replace the box) onto my computer using a video capture Software. Will this work or is there something else that will work?
This could be quite difficult. I don't have a DTV box to test regrettably. By searching their forums I see a lot of no answers about transferring recordings. Some of the HDMI ports are in, some are out. Often the USB ports may be locked. Another issue is that a lot of HD content is digitally protected and even if transferred may expire. Short story, if you buy anything, buy locally so you can return if it doesn't work. I would contact DTV before I put a lot of time and money into it to see if it's even possible.
