Rockstar knocks it out of the park yet again with this old timey animal culling simulator set in the old west. Apparently there is a storyline about some bad hombres and their antics, but you can ignore all that if you wish and just ride out on your horse and shoot some birds and bears and drink in the scenery.

The Mario Party games have always been a hit with me and my wife, so we were excited to dig into the latest entry. And after many hours of stealing coins and stars from each other, we've both decided that this is the best Mario Party yet. The mini-games, which are a staple of the MP franchise, all pack a surprising amount of fun making creative use of the joycons, in classic Nintendo post-wii style. I didn't buy my wife her own copy for her switch, since that would be a bit excessive, so I can't really test that new feature, but it looks like fun. For now, my wife and I are content doing a quick 10 turn game before bed.

I love the convenience of the Nintendo eshop. Getting a card instead of giving Nintendo your cc info helps keep at least one vector secure from identity theft. Plus you get rewards points from BB. Win/win.

There's only so much you can do with tennis games. Do you keep it a pure simulation but frustrating due to the realities behind the physics involved? Or do you make it an arcadey game to make it fun to play? Nintendo takes the latter route, and adds things like super shots with the potential to break your opponents racket. They do alienate some of the hardcore tennis fans by attempting to keep matches shorter by turning sets into a race to 3 affair (or by KO from breaking your opponent's racket with power shots). That being said, it's still fun, and the single player mode does a nice job of introducing you to the newer concepts they bring to make it more of a chess match where you choose the best stroke to use for your situation rather than just mashing the topspin button all day.

I tend to skip Nintendo console generations (didn't have the gamecube or the wii u, no 3ds either). So I never got to play the original version of this game. I got this for my wife, who isn't a fan of stressful situations in her video games. She plays games like Stardew Valley, or point and click adventures where exploration is more important. She loves this game, as she can take her time looking for coins without feeling the anxiety that comes with timing jumps properly or any of the fast twitch gaming skills necessary to git gud at FPS games.

I'm a newcomer to MH. I've never played any of the games in the franchise. I always wanted to dip a toe in, but have been wary due to the countless comments about it being way hardcore. Turns out, it ticks every one of my addiction boxes. The gameplay loop of village > prep > hunt > craft/upgrade > village is very tight, but the story is barebones (I guess other games in the series have a more fleshed out story, but all I know from the 40 hours I've put in so far is that monsters have body parts I need to make cool looking armor, so I better do quests where I hunt those monsters if I want the cool armor).
Unlike traditional MMO's, your character doesn't level up and get more stats. You can upgrade your gear, and get buffs from items and meals, but your ability to take down the giant monsters relies mostly on your personal skill. With the many potential combinations of weapons, styles, and equipable arts, there's guaranteed to be a playstyle for everyone (right now I'm playing Dual Swords, Aerial style, but have dabbled with a LBG Striker).
Love the fact that the single player is perfectly adequate, and that the multiplayer experience has both local and network play. I just wish more of my friends would get on board so I could have someone to take down these giant monsters with.
Streamline your creative process. Writing and drawing with Surface Pen feels natural, with precision ink on one end and a rubber eraser on the other. Sketch, shade, and paint with artistic precision~the 4,096 pressure points respond to the lightest touch. Tilt your Surface Pen to shade your sketches just like you would a graphite pencil, using the pen tip that feels right.~

This accessory isn't as crucial to the Surface experience as the keyboard cover. I'm actually disappointed that the pens no longer come as standard. And for some reason, every time I give it to someone to try, they end up holding down buttons while trying to draw, resulting in a poor experience for them, though when put in the hands of someone that knows what they are doing, it performs adequately for writing and drawing. If your primary reason for purchasing a Surface is to draw/take written notes, absolutely get this. If your primary reason is to check your facebook, maybe do some youtubing, and watch netflix, skip it.

You are missing out on half the surface experience if you don't purchase the keyboard cover. That being said, this doesn't feel cramped, the layout is only slightly thinner than my full sized mechanical gaming keyboard. The trackpad is nice and large, as well as responsive. And it works great to protect the tablet screen when on the go.

I carry around a smaller bag with a pouch for a 10" tablet. I previously lugged around an android tablet that I had to remove the case for to get it to fit in the slot, but the Surface Go is the perfect size to slide in with the keyboard cover attached.
I immediately took off Windows S mode, installed some tools to allow me to use it as a secondary screen, and have it be my web browser while I get work done on my main computer. It's also nice on my commute to read books or comics. And finally, I design and make iron-on patches, so I installed the digitizing software that I use, and it works perfectly.
LG~s SJ7 Sound Bar Flex offers endless entertainment from a versatile dual-speaker design: The two main speakers can be placed in front of the TV, or to the left/right vertically or in front of and behind the listener for an even more cinematic experience. Both speakers are Bluetooth, and the right unit has a built-in battery, so it can work independently just about anywhere.

I bought this to pair with my portable projector, and it is amazing. There were bass notes that I never knew I was missing in one of my daughter's favorite cartoons, and hearing them through this system changed my perception of the show entirely. Love that it can be used on the go by grabbing one of the speakers with built in battery.
