Good Runner up for GOTY

One hundred hours logged and one or two trophies away from getting my first Platinum Trophy. Yeah, it's undeniably good.
At times, I felt chilled at how relevant story elements were. Sure, Far Cry 5 isn't going to win any Nobel Peace or Pulitzers, but it's absolutely eerily familiar—especially since I grew up in a rural county reminiscent of Hope's borders. My homeplace even had the ominous high barbwired fence that blocked out curious residents from a cult compound. True story.
Far Cry 5 does have its share of 'Elder Scrolls-esque' glitches and mission frustrations. Still, it's nothing that will deter most gamers from chugging through.
Game of the Year? No. Runner-up? Absolutely.

Disappointed Again

On defense you can’t cancel a players individual responsibility with out the screen getting stuck zoomed out and when you reset the view, your player commits an encroachment. Any time you commit a turnover on offense , your player will get stuck in an animation of throwing a fit while the defense is running the ball back. Injuries are EA Sports favorite thing this year. I played franchise with the 49ers .. and in one game Jimmy G, McKinnon, Joe Staley and Reuben Foster all go out with critical injuries ... in a single game though?! This happens often, too. Dropped passes on nicely thrown balls . Constantly throwing post pattern plays , lead the WR with a man trailing ... the ball hits the WR in the hands , the animation shows a catch.... then contact is made from behind and the ball just falls out of the WRs hands... incomplete. Every game you can count on this happening multiple times . I hit the same route twice in a row with the game doing this with Julio Jones... but you can surely count on any pass thrown remotely close to a defensive player that he’ll catch it for an INT! Why madden got the defense with better hands than the offense ?! Makes no sense. If you go over replays you’ll see that the player speed of non-controlled players are faster than the player you are controlling simply from the motion of their running . You’ll see your WR running routes and as soon as they catch it , their speed drops noticeably. It is a cool concept , but it really causes some major game play issues . The more I play the more things I find. Disappointed, thoroughly

More of the Same

Not worth the 3 year wait. A good 50% of the gear and guns, which are their big selling point, are just re skinned from the first game but less fun because you can't customize it outside of the gear mods (which are lame). PVP is boring being only 4v4. There are so many stupid decisions that make me kinda hate Bungie.
I purchased this to play with friends like many others but everyone is already getting bored. The game is so shallow and stale less than a month in. The single raid is redeeming since it's fun and challenging. The problem is it's all about placement and memorization of roles so I can see it getting too easy once people down it a time or two.
Oh and obvious micro-transactions, I don't care that much since it's a common trend but I don't like their being an in game currency that is only available if you buy it. That and it feels like a slap in the face given the lack of content everywhere else. Did I mention that most of the END GAME gear is a DIRECT COPY of D1 gear? Come on.....seriously...

Amazing Graphical Enhancement from Original!
on December 6, 2018
Posted by: waggs181
from Dayton, OH
Verified Purchase:Yes
This game is the exact remake of the original, but with a graphical overhaul and performance upgrades
--Here are a list of changes to the game:
1. Graphics.
Unlike the PS3 Remaster, this version does not only have graphical up scaling, but also new renders and slight remodels of the environment, characters and colossi.
A night-and-day difference; the major change you'll notice in this version as you can now see detailed in the rock formations, strains of grass and individual hairs in the Collossi.
The Dynamic lighting effects in this game are amazing and is the best I've seen in any game thus far. There's also reactive foliage and water physics to get you more engrossed into the world
2. Constant Frame Rate.
Unlike the choppy inconsistent frame rate of original, this game has smooth frame rate throughout.
If you have a PS4 Pro you can play at 60FPS at 1080p (performance mode) or 30FPS at 4K (cinematic mode)
Standard PS4 runs at constant 30FPS at 1080p
3. Controls.
The core gameplay is the same, but there are some quality of life changes added to make the control more modern (you can also opt for orginial controls for the purists out there).
PS4 Touchpad brings up a map
Jump is now the X button instead of Triangle
Dodge/Roll is the Circle button instead of R1 + Triangle
4. Game now saves automatically.
Praying altar no longer serves as manual save terminal in-game and only heals Wander when activated.
5. Photo mode
You can pause and take pictures at any time and add filters similar to other first party exclusives like Uncharted and Horizon Zero Dawn
6. Gallery
Collection of digital pictures filled with comparison shots and concept art
7. New Game+.
This time around you can select different difficulty settings instead of sticking the one you beat the game with.
There's also Mirror Mode and Time Trails.
8. Trophy Support
You can now earn PSN trophies (when comparing to PS2). Compared to the PS3 version; there's 7 more additional trophies you can collect bringing the total to 38 vs 31. PSN considers them different games so if you own the PS3 version you can stack trophies
--What Stayed the Same:
-Story. You go to this alter and try to resurrect a fallen princess. You are told in order to do so, you have to defeat 16 Collossi roaming around the land. Then off you go and try to slay 16 of them in a series of boss battles; each of them different in size and ways to take them down. Story isn't that deep at face value, but through gameplay, you'll get a deep moral understanding/emotion investment of the world especally when you reach closer and closer to the end game.
-There are some returning issues with the game like how your horse does what it wants at random times and camera issues when in narrow corridors. For those who only play modern games the character controls may feel a bit stiff and clunky at first, but you'll get used to it if you keep at it as there is a learning curve to the character's movement.
-Sound is spectacular as always. The colossi roars are more distinct this time around (either that or I have a better headset this time around). Still no English voice acting, just random gibberish coming from characters
Overall, best way to experience the Shadow of The Colossus if you haven't played it before, and an excellent revisit with enhanced visuals for those who did.

Batman: Return To Arkham is a great HD remake for the PS4. Arkham Asylum and Arkum City are two of my favorite games, and seeing it in high-definition was wonderful. My only gripe is that they made Batman's face a bit too high-definition, and close-ups of his face make it look like Batman had a severe acne problem as a teen. Both of these games are some of the best, and the developer really makes it feel like you're playing the Dark Knight. The story is terrific, the voice acting is top-notch, and the gameplay is stellar. This is a must-have in any gamer's collection.

Classic PS4 Game!

If you previously played this game and are a fan, it's totally worth the money. It looks great, plays great and really rekindles the fire and fun of playing this game again. You'll be quite satisfied to revisit this gem, it looks and sounds amazing. The camera mode they put in this game I found to be quite interesting. You can take pictures of the excellent art and work the developers put into the game and save them as wallpaper etc.
If you have never played the game before or have taken a long break from it by all means give this game serious consideration. It has some archaic mechanics like QTE's here and there but its a classic action game with an epic over the top story of Gods and Monsters and shameless violence.
God of War 2 is a personally favorite of mine with this game running up as a close second. The PSP game Ghost of Sparta was also a very well made game I would recommend which can be found on the God of War Collection for PS3.
There's no reason not to by this classic one more time and support the series on PS4. It's very well made with non stop action you won't want to put down till the end. Excelsior!
The game is fully patched and updated for PS4. This is the third and final game of the trilogy which first appeared on PS3.

Pass the Learning Curve Onto an Awesome Game!
on December 6, 2018
Posted by: waggs181

Verified Purchase:Yes
Wow. I'm new to the Dark Souls series and it's worth it to note that no previous experience in the series is required to enjoy this game. This is the best single player RPG experience I've had since FF7, Zelda, Diablo - I haven't played games in years. I understand why this series has such a strong cult-like following now.
As new player that's unfamiliar with the series, you really have to push through the initial learning curve to really start appreciating the game for what it is.
What do I mean by that?
It's a game that doesn't leave good first impressions in my opinion - my first impression of this game was that it was lack luster. The graphics I thought looked like crap compared to other games like battlefield one, Until dawn, and so on. I thought the controls were stupid - I can't jump, the enemy aiming initially felt bad and confusing. I couldn't even customize the button actions to make it all better and had to adapt to what the game forced me to use and that led to an intial frustrating experience as I struggled to dodge, block, hit enemies and even just general movement across the starting area lead to death from falls off cliffs and unexpected enemies. And the game gives you no breaks, you can't even pause in the game which is what I'm used to. If I want to take a break I just press the pause button, but not in this game you have to be in a safe zone if you want to rest or just plain quit the game ( and there is a special menu option for you to quit , you can't just hit the PS4 button and close the app ).
So yes, the game doesn't leave a good first impression, but if you can push past that and give it a few hours, defeat the first boss, learn the controls and start getting better weapons and understand the upgrade system, you start to be able to appreciate what this game has to offer and I think it's a rare thing to have quality RPG games like this. It is genuinely addictive.
Gameplay:
It's hard to explain the game play without experiencing it yourself. Watch a few game review videos if you want an idea, but the gist of it is that it's not a button mashing game. It's a third person RPG that requires enemy targeting and some level of strategy. Every enemy can be a challenge and has the ability to kill you if you are carelessly swinging. You need to know their attack patterns and know when to attack and if you're really into it, what to use for attacking that works most effectively. It's casual enough that you can just jump right in but not so casual that you can just hack and slash your way through the entire game ( if you're new ).
Besides that, the game offers a pretty unique way to level up, but the stat adjustments are typical of the genre but with a twist here since the game has unique attributes associated with each stat. There are no skill branches, just attributes, weapons, armor, weapon/armor upgrades, spell purchases, but it's varied enough that you can have near unlimited choices to make the character you want. And the game can be as hard or as difficult as you want it to be depending on the time you spend upgrading/leveling.
Game progression:
The game progression itself is rather linear with forks in the quest line that you can choose to do and affect outcomes at different parts of the game with NPCs and game endings, but it's done so well that you never mind that it's linear since there is enough freedom that it makes the player feel they have control of what they want to do next. There are enough things players can do and side areas to explore if they so please. Basically it has an open world feel in terms of side quests vs main storyline but the map areas are pretty closed with hidden and optional areas but the level designs are so well done ( the best I've ever seen ) that I rather prefer that than exploring a boring barren open world.
Boss battles:
If you're looking for epic boss fights then this is the right game for you. The fights can be brutal but impressive and no two bosses behave the same way or have the same attacks. They are enjoyable and I hesitate a little every time I see the door that could lead to the next boss fight because I just don't know what to expect.
Game replay value:
I am only going through this game my first time and I'm hooked. The game does have a lot of replay value , different endings, new game difficulty after your first run, and different faction enlistments , different character attributes /customizations / weapons armor you may want to try, and quest lines that could have been missed the first time around, npcs you may want to kill etc. the game is brilliantly designed so it never really gets old even if you revisit an old level. It will offer hundreds of hours gameplay if you choose no doubt. Even just one play through will probably require at least weeks or months to complete if played casually about a few hours a day. The game levels / areas are deceptively huge. They feel large and natural and will take time to explore if you don't have maps or a game guide.

These games are great. I was surprised to find that the story was actually pretty good. Most shooter games are just that, throw-away games you don't care about. But the Wolfenstein story was actually interesting, and most of the characters were pretty well-designed as well. Fun combat mechanics. Basically, it takes place in an alternate timeline where Germany uses advanced robotic technology to win World War II, leading to a dystopic future where the Third Reich is the dominant superpower on the planet. You, as a U.S. soldier, try to oppose the regime and launch a resistance. It's cool, definitely worth it.

Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter RPG (role-playing game) that takes place in the sci-fi world of Pandora where you’re hired to find a mysterious “Vault” left behind by an advanced alien species known as Eridians. This Vault is said to contain immense treasures and your adventures along the way will have you meeting a large variety of funny characters, difficult enemies, crazy creatures, and amazing boss fights. This game has a very detailed and deep leveling system that allows for your characters to harness super fun and helpful abilities to help you blast away at any enemies that happens to get in your way. This leveling system is different and unique for all of the six playable characters. The environments and areas to explore in this game are very different and unique ranging from rolling sand dunes of the desert, to snowy glaciers, to futuristic cities. This game also has a loot system that features randomly generated weapons and gear which means that all loot will be different from the last, this loot generating can generate tons of different items, so many in fact that the developers aren't sure how much. The previous Borderlands game had around 1,750,000 different weapon combinations and the developers say that Borderlands 2 has way more! This game runs very smoothly and I never experienced any lag or framerate drops while playing. The game also features online co-op with up to four players and up to four player split screen which made for some of the best couch co-op gaming I’ve ever had. Borderlands 2 has a very goofy sense of humor throughout the game which always keeps things entertaining. This game will keep its players playing because of its well developed plot, goofy sense of humor, excellent combat mechanics, and its extremely addictive loot system. Even though all of these things make the game very fun to play, no game is without its problems. This game will constantly have you go through areas that are fun, but then have you make the boring trek back through them, this means that a lot of time will be spent on just traveling back from places. Also, a lot of side missions will have you do the same kind of tasks which can be a little repetitive, but if you are paying attention to the dialogue, the story behind these missions really helps in making them seem less tedious. This game also makes it so that in order to level your character to the highest levels you need to replay the game in a different, tougher mode where you get to keep everything you had previously earned. This mode is entertaining due to it introducing many new enemies and loot, but can definitely be repetitive replaying all of the missions again. The final mode is extremely difficult which causes players to think things through much more and utilize the necessary abilities to succeed. Overall, Borderlands 2 is a fantastic game that offers hundreds of hours of fun to anyone who enjoys first person shooters and RPGs

I saw on the website and app that It was $5.99 for the Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy. Went to the store and purchased it. Got it home and opened it and it did not include the DVD or the Digital Copy. It is a great movie, but the fact that the website and app are showing one version and the ONLY version they have in store is BLURAY only is deceiving. Not worth it if it doesn't include the digital copy. That was the main reason I was even buying it. But since I opened it, I can't take it back. Though, there isn't an actual Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy in stores anyway, so I wouldn't be able to buy the correct version no matter what.

Definitely Not A Quality Game
By waggs181
There are not many games I deeply dislike, but this is one of them. Bethesda Game Studios's first multiplayer was a complete disaster. Which is really sad because I do love there single player games. This game just had too many technical & graphical errors to be enjoyable. Avoid at all cost and look for another game.

You should actually try to communicate less in this game compared to other team games. The predator can hear your conversations when nearby. If the predator is further away, it will assist him finding you in his thermal mode.

If i knew that there was no story mode/campaign mode i wouldn't have pre-ordered it. playing privately as Predator is awesome but no setting for adding bots. it has a few enemies n that's it. thermal mode needs more work on cuz you can barely see human or animal heat signature. Online isn't working for me due server most likely. long waits n no play.this game is made for online multiplayer. 2 star is only for the playing as predator character is cool. only 3 maps to play private game/offline. cars don't blow up only certain things like barrels. blaster is kinda weak when it hits stuff. not recommended for the price. I rather have my money back.

Perfect in Every Way Except One!
By dockcom
This charger is exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, with one caveat.
It charges my iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch, all while displaying them on my desk or nightstand so that I can read messages as they come in during the day or see the time in the middle of the night.
The product even has an extra power out on the back so that you can plug in an additional cord to power another device... very useful! Note, the additional power outlet is a USB Type C connector.
Here is the problem ... when you place your phone on the charger, a blue light illuminates on the front of it! This light may seem unobtrusive during the day, but at night, it is blazingly bright!
In addition, this light is not smart ... it stays on no matter what the charge percentage is on your phone. In other words, even after the phone is 100% charged, the light remains on.
I fixed this problem by adding a black sticker to cover up the light but in my opinion, the manufacturer shouldn't have added the changing light indicator to the unit at all. Your devices tell you when they are charging and adding a light to a product that will be used by some people on their nightstand shows extremely poor product development on the part of Anker.
Hopefully the manufacturer is monitoring reviews and will take note of customer feedback.

I have the standalone version of the phone charger without the other items. The purpose of the blue light is let you know that you have properly set your phone on it. Anker has this light on a lot (if not all) of their products to let you know that their is proper connection for charging.

Experience intense shooting action in Outriders. Drop-in co-op play allows you to play solo and fight on your own or have up to three friends join your game for extra help when needed. Outriders is set in a new dark sci-fi universe full of strange enemies and weapons to discover.

GE 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave: Make popcorn, reheat leftovers, thaw frozen items and more using this GE over-the-range microwave, which features one-touch settings for flexible operation. The cooktop light allows you to maintain a clear view of the stovetop below. Plus, the 2-speed exhaust fan removes smoke, steam and odors that are produced while cooking on your range.

Old Microwave is GE Model JVM3160DF3ww. Will this model match up with current installation holes (in cabinet above microwave)?. Does it use same mounting bracket?

The answer from GE answers is incorrect. I just installed this today and the mounting holes from the cabinet above are different. The left one is at least 3 inches different compared to the JVM3160DF3WW that you would have. The mounting bracket did still work for me though.

I have a GE JVM3160DF3WW that just died. Will this unit replace my unit without any modifications? Thank you!

The JVM3160DFWW has different mounting hole locations than the JVM3160DF3WW does. I learned the hardway that after see it incorrectly saying no modifications or same mounting hardware could be used. Especially the one on the left is like 3 inches towards the center of the microwave. The mounting bracket could still be used though.
