I held off on watching this film, didn't see it in the theater, largely because I was burned-out on Spider-Man. Anyway, long story short I can't believe how much I enjoyed Homecoming. Total breath of fresh air both for Spider-Man and frankly for Marvel Studios as well. This is arguably the best film within the Marvel Cinematic universe since the halcyon days of 2014 (Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy). Homecoming is fun, it's funny, the tone and feel are just right. Tom Holland is terrific and Michael Keaton superb. No retelling of the origin story *or* parade of usual suspects in the supporting roles, outside Aunt May and a couple of Peter's classmates. A great combination of high school, superhero and comedy with a real sense of stakes and even a little menace. Perfect mix, great entertainment.

One of the best (if not the best) games of this console generation so far.
This is a dark, mature action adventure game that will last around ~20-30 hour game (with no filler content) depending on how much you explore, and difficulty level you selected with emphasis on quality over quantity.
The game has a very nice pacing/progression system that feels very natural. The game does not hand hold you, or set you to your own devices; rather gives you enough information to figure things out on your own
Different from past God of War (GOW) games is that, this game is a over shoulder 3rd person view vs isometric view (camera with birds eye view panning in and out). The camera is very tight fixed, and behind kratos making it more grounded and personal. Entire game is pretty much one-shot (assuming you don't get any game over screen).
The game has beautiful environment and the lighting is very impressive. It runs

If you play on PS4 pro it's preferred you play at 30fps. The combat this time around is less combo based than past games, and more methodical as it's more about precision hits, quick turns*, and dodging; being aware of your surroundings due to the fixed over the shoulder view. So 60fps is not really necessary unless maybe you're playing on the hardest difficulty mode.

Sound is amazing. Get your headset or home theater system ready because you're in for a treat as the game has really nice surround sound option. Does not support 3D audio in the PlayStation Platinum headset which is disapointing. Hope they add it in, in the future.
Music typical for GOW games with drums, string instruments and orchestral vocals that really gets you pumped up

Takes place in Norse mythology instead of Geek
The main plot is that Kratos' wife has died and she wants her ashes spread from the highest mountain
Kratos takes his son with him on this journey and through a bonding experience they both grow stronger as they reach their final destination. the journey isn't that simple as it seems as there are twist and turns along the way and enemies they have to face
You do get some insight on how Kratos reach this land after GOW3, but it's sprinkled throughout instead of one long exposition
Side quests brings out lore of the game and also way to upgrade your skill tree
There are boat sections in the game where Kratos gives his son life lessons, conversely his son gives inside knowledge of the world he learned through observation/what he learned from his mother; which makes you more invested in the characters.

Instead of Quick Timed Events (QTE) there's a stun meter which which needs to be filled up for kratos make his signature final finishing moves on enemies. Feels very natural as you don't get a huge button prompt the middle of the screen
I like how the core combat is mapped to the trigger buttons instead of the face buttons making combat feel more natural
There's a skill tree that cater to how you want to play: defensive, offensive, focus on physical or magical attacks, range vs close combat, master a weapon over the other, etc
You can upgrade weapons and armor by collecting materials
Kratos' main weapon this time around is the leviathan axe (very similar to Thor's (Marvel movies/comics) weapon Mjolnir) instead of his chained blades of chaos. You can throw the axe and have it call back to you like a boomerang. You can swing and throw the axe at enemies and fun to master as you have to judge the timing of when the axe will return to you as without your axe you may only have your bare fists to do battle till it comes back
There is some strategy involved especially in the higher difficulty settings. Some enemies are super effective against certain weapons/skills you have to be aware of
Krato's son comes along with you on the journey and is able to help with by stunning/detract enemies with an arrow which you can control the activation. Overtime as he becomes more experienced in combat more options are available. He'll also yell out tips when needed** or jump onto enemies to slow them down. Also you can view his journals after you defeat an enemy to find out hidden weaknesses
**Seeing the camera is so tight, he'll give you tips you are not able to see at times due to blind spots
Armor and clothes can be crafted, purchased, or upgraded via dwarf blacksmiths in game . It changes krato's physical appearance in game. Some armor/clothing piece has slots for enchantments which effects stats
Enemies attack you gorilla style as they can attack at anytime they want instead of gathering up in a circle and attacking one by one. Each enemy have different variety of skills, health, size, weakness and speed
There are backtracking at times that builds on exploration. Also the environments sometimes change when going back making the location feel different yet the same. There's also hidden areas you cannot access until you get a particular item giving the game this somewhat of a metriod-mania style to it
Through mini objectives like kills specific about of enemies to get exp rewards
Side quest gives you glimpse of story narrative, exp gain and or material. It doesn't feel like fetch quests or something you have to do to directly upgrade your character . There's no fluff and the side quests does not feel tacked on as it feels necessary, yet optional
You'll naturally stumble onto some side quests as the map only shows an overview of the land with a compass that points you to your main objective. Fast travel is limited, making exploration in the forefront. There's not too many side quests making it feel open and direct at the same time
As of this review, this is best PS4 game in my opinion. Sets a new standard for video games

Budget Headset from Quality Maker

I hate to admit it but I was a little skeptical on buying these at first because of the mixed reviews, but I'm glad I did because I'm very pleased with how this headset performs so far.
Pros:
- Very comfortable, you will have to adjust the headset accordingly if you have a bigger head, but overall it's pretty comfortable.
- The sound quality is amazing, I used to own the Turtle Beach X12's until the screws on each side of the headset keeping it together broke, but the Turtle Beaches never had this good of sound quality, honestly impressed with how efficient the headset is money wise.
- Adding onto the sound quality, the bass kicks SUPER hard, honestly love it because it just sounds good, but I thought I'd add that just because.

Detroit Become Human lets you write the story of what happens when robotic programming goes awry on a massive scale. The concept and execution come together beautifully into one of the more memorable and significant video game experiences of 2018.
As you might expect for a new PS4 exclusive, the production quality and graphics of Detroit Become Human are superb. Realistic weather effects make you wish the game was set in Miami instead of a frozen Motown. The lighting is also especially well-done. Perhaps most impressive of all is the life-like facial animations which may convince you that androids are in-fact people too.
Sound quality is up to snuff, but not particularly noteworthy. However, the voice acting is remarkable. Going in, you might expect the androids to sound like Dennis Klatt, but the voice actors were well-cast with excellent and context-appropriate delivery and expression.
As a whole, gameplay is more than adequate. The game is well-polished and doesn't contain any noticeable bugs. Difficulty is largely irrelevant. If you make a plastic-headed mistake, just keep going and live with the consequences. That's kinda the point. The only short-circuit in this department is the control scheme. A number of interactions require use of the right thumb stick which also moves the camera, so at times you might look around foolishly instead of performing an action. Other sequences require a third thumb (or similar appendage) to properly execute. This has the potential to spoil immersion.
The writing for Detroit Become Human is is anything but robotic. The dynamic story revolves around player choice and weaves together the stories of 3 disparate androids as they fight to break free from their programming to become free-willed beings. Determine the fate of android-human relations. Protest? Fight? Hop the border to freedom? The choice is yours, and that is what makes Detroit Become Human one of the most enjoyable games in recent memory.

I saw on the website and app that It was $5.99 for the Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy. Went to the store and purchased it. Got it home and opened it and it did not include the DVD or the Digital Copy. It is a great movie, but the fact that the website and app are showing one version and the ONLY version they have in store is BLURAY only is deceiving. Not worth it if it doesn't include the digital copy. That was the main reason I was even buying it. But since I opened it, I can't take it back. Though, there isn't an actual Bluray + DVD + Digital Copy in stores anyway, so I wouldn't be able to buy the correct version no matter what.

There are not many games I deeply dislike, but this is one of them. Bethesda Game Studios's first multiplayer was a complete disaster. Which is really sad because I do love there single player games. This game just had too many technical & graphical errors to be enjoyable. Avoid at all cost and look for another game.

You should actually try to communicate less in this game compared to other team games. The predator can hear your conversations when nearby. If the predator is further away, it will assist him finding you in his thermal mode.

If i knew that there was no story mode/campaign mode i wouldn't have pre-ordered it. playing privately as Predator is awesome but no setting for adding bots. it has a few enemies n that's it. thermal mode needs more work on cuz you can barely see human or animal heat signature. Online isn't working for me due server most likely. long waits n no play.this game is made for online multiplayer. 2 star is only for the playing as predator character is cool. only 3 maps to play private game/offline. cars don't blow up only certain things like barrels. blaster is kinda weak when it hits stuff. not recommended for the price. I rather have my money back.

This charger is exactly what I was looking for! Unfortunately, with one caveat.
It charges my iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch, all while displaying them on my desk or nightstand so that I can read messages as they come in during the day or see the time in the middle of the night.
The product even has an extra power out on the back so that you can plug in an additional cord to power another device... very useful! Note, the additional power outlet is a USB Type C connector.
Here is the problem ... when you place your phone on the charger, a blue light illuminates on the front of it! This light may seem unobtrusive during the day, but at night, it is blazingly bright!
In addition, this light is not smart ... it stays on no matter what the charge percentage is on your phone. In other words, even after the phone is 100% charged, the light remains on.
I fixed this problem by adding a black sticker to cover up the light but in my opinion, the manufacturer shouldn't have added the changing light indicator to the unit at all. Your devices tell you when they are charging and adding a light to a product that will be used by some people on their nightstand shows extremely poor product development on the part of Anker.
Hopefully the manufacturer is monitoring reviews and will take note of customer feedback.

I have the standalone version of the phone charger without the other items. The purpose of the blue light is let you know that you have properly set your phone on it. Anker has this light on a lot (if not all) of their products to let you know that their is proper connection for charging.

Old Microwave is GE Model JVM3160DF3ww. Will this model match up with current installation holes (in cabinet above microwave)?. Does it use same mounting bracket?
The answer from GE answers is incorrect. I just installed this today and the mounting holes from the cabinet above are different. The left one is at least 3 inches different compared to the JVM3160DF3WW that you would have. The mounting bracket did still work for me though.

I have a GE JVM3160DF3WW that just died. Will this unit replace my unit without any modifications? Thank you!
The JVM3160DFWW has different mounting hole locations than the JVM3160DF3WW does. I learned the hardway that after see it incorrectly saying no modifications or same mounting hardware could be used. Especially the one on the left is like 3 inches towards the center of the microwave. The mounting bracket could still be used though.
