Pros: since it doesn't cover the entire switch then it allows for extra cooling and for gamers who play for hours and hours. I've noticed the original Nintendo dock can cause over heating.
Cons: Sometimes the initial dock doesn't work and I have to lift it up and dock it down 2 to 3 times which is annoying. Once it connects then it works 100%.
