I was elated when I upgraded to a newer iPhone that utilizes Qi technology. So naturally, I was equally elated when our usual Geek recommended this model and it was on sale. I can’t see myself ever going back to regular corded charging! This model allows me to either stand my phone up or lay it sideways when I want to watch my videos…an awesome feature.

I can tell I have a lot to learn about what this version can do that my iPhone 7 couldn’t. I love the facial recognition feature and the larger screen size. It also seems more durable over the previous versions. This one is stainless steel; my old one was aluminum. That’s got to be better at handling what I may throw at it.

Learning all the new tech...great phone though

I like that this new iPhone is reportedly built to be life-proof. I hope it is because I chose not to protect it with an add-on screen glass like I did on my previous phones. I can tell there’s tons of new tech that I still have to uncover but I can tell this version is tons better than my iPhone 7. I particularly like the QI (wireless) changeability while still being able to charge it with my cable if I choose to. I’ve yet to fully explore its awesome photo and video capabilities and I hear the battery life is impressive as well…it has been so far. Facial recognition is a feature I wasn't sure I'd use but after seeing how easy it made getting in to secure sites I think it's a very useful feature...I'll keep it!

I frequently drink larger bottles (17oz) of flavored water and I was in the market for a mini fridge. I settled on this one for the price (on sale at the time) and for a feature I hoped would allow me to store my water bottles in the door.
It had to be ordered and it arrived slightly damaged (outside corner…nothing serious). I began to load it with my 17oz bottles and found that shelf space is limited when the larger bottles are stored in the door. No worries…I just have to store them on the shelves. The door storage is meant for 16oz cans rather than larger bottles.

I took a BB Geek’s advice to buy this case when I snagged my AirPods and it’s been a good investment.
I use my AirPods (one of them) when I’m driving as a means to answer calls while driving and keeping my AirPods on a belt loop makes them really accessible when having to put in the second pod for hard to hear calls. The case also enables me to keep pocket lint from finding its way into the AirPod charging case (I really hate that…don’t you?).
Pretty handy gadget for all of you who need to get at your AirPods in a rush and a nice silicone feel to the durable (so far…I’ve owned mine for almost a year) case to boot.
