Worth the wait

I haven't had a PlayStation console in a number of years and considered re-buying a PS4 Pro for certain games I missed out on (Ghost of Tsushima and God of War). I'm so glad I waited. The upgrades the PS5 offers over the PS4 for games are incredible. Better frame rates with top notch visuals, quieter console, amazing 3D audio.
Then there's the controller. It truly feels next gen with its haptics and adjustable controller tension. Astro's Playroom really showed off all the capabilities of this new gateway to gaming.
My two criticisms of the console are its enormous size and overall, to me, unappealing look. It just is a pretty ugly console. And with it being as big as it is, it really stands out.
I also wish there was more storage space inside as only 5 games installed (Astro's Playroom, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, Spider-Man, and Miles Morales) all take up about half of the available storage. Game sizes aren't small and having to clear a game off to make room for another at a pretty regular rate is going to suck for download speeds and data caps.
And kudos to Best Buy for implementing the only good form of bot protection I've encountered. It still took a few tries due to incredible demand, but their system is the one that works best.
But, overall, I can't recommend this console enough.

I made the switch from console to PC for gaming, eliminating the need for an Xbox. I wanted something that works with Dolby Atmos audio, as my surround system at home is a 5.1.4 setup via sound bar. This headset was the first listed on the Dolby site for compatibility with Atmos audio. Having no need for the Xbox specific base, I bought the PS4 version of this headset to allow for compatibility with a PS5 when I'm able to get one. So far, with PC usage, this headset is absolutely amazing. It took a little while to get setup properly, but since then, it's been a breeze. The surround sound works incredibly well, and the height audio fully immerses you. The deep bass rumbles throughout, but never overpowers the vocal audio to where you can't understand characters in games. There's a reason this thing is so expensive, but it's totally worth the cost for the incredible quality it possesses.

This GPU is an absolute monster. I was building a new PC and planned on transferring my RTX 2070 Super to the new system when I happened to luck out and snag one of these on a whim. The card's build is of the utmost quality and the design is gorgeous.
This thing is a UNIT thought. It's about as big as the new Xbox Series S. I would highly recommend a GPU bracket to help support the incredible weight and heft of this card.
The 3090 runs extremely quiet and keeps quite cool. Games run incredibly well and look amazing. Control at 4K 60fps with DLSS is stunning. Cyberpunk 2077 struggles to hit 4k on any PC and this GPU is no exception. It does get really close most of the time though and the game maxed out looks absolutely gorgeous. This is the best GPU on the market if you want to run 4k or with ray tracing.

Great in the right USB port

This is the second one of these I've bought. I had random disconnects the first time, and returned the adapter. I had other issues with my keyboard and mouse plugged into the back as well so I got a USB hub and that fixed the keyboard and mouse once moved to the front of the PC. I bought another one of these adapters once my keyboard and mouse worked well and have had no issues since. If you're having issues with this, change the USB port to the front of your computer and it should work fine.

Great RAM for a great price

I have two of this kit for 64gb total RAM in my system and it flies. I had to change the BIOS setting to make sure the RAM was used at its full speed, but it's been great since then.
I also needed low profile RAM to clear my Noctua cooler and this worked great. No issues with clearances and the computer runs completely stable.

This processor is great! I've been running games extremely well with an RTX 3090 and Cyberpunk 2077 looks absolutely amazing with this CPU. It's true that game can't hit 60fps at 4k, but if you pick the right DLSS settings, you can still get really close with everything maxed out.

I know HDMI 4 is the only port that specifies 4k@120hz, so I've plugged my PS5 into that port and all looks good. I plugged my PC into port 2 and it's showing as running in 4k@120hz. Is this normal?
